SigmaSoft has contacted us adding that warzone will be recieving two major updates in the near future. Warzone developer, Sigmasoft has decided to lower the price of Warzone to 99 cents – at least for now. It seems as though the ghostly Nexus S is starting to make public showings… well at least to people in-store. Best Buy first had a bit of a hiccup on their website. It seems as though they got a little excited and accidentally posted an update to the mobile phones section and under T-Mobile there was an area labeled Nexus S and now photos are out!
Qualcomm has announced the release of it’s beta software for augmented reality development regarding Android games as well as applications. Regarding game development, the new AR extension for Unity 3D will help developers create games with augmented reality features much more quickly when used in conjunction with their other tools.
Since June, Doodle Jump hasn’t received an update. The hit game that came to Android from iOS was well received by the Android community and now a lot of people are going to be happy that it has been updated finally with more themes, 4 to be exact. Jungle, Space, Night and Christmas are now apart of the Android version of Doodle Jump.
Steambirds started life out as a Flash game online originally developed by Spry Fox. Semi Secret, developers of the cult classic Flash game Canabalt, got a hold of it and it has become very popular since it was released and has now made its way to iPhone and Android Markets. This is a turn-based combat/strategy game with some pretty fun graphics, set in a dogfighting style game.

Warzone’s is Sigmasoft’s first Android Market release and it’s genre can best be described as a mix between 2D tower defense and tank battle. Sigmasoft’s first title is and we think it’s a perfect example of an underdone masterpiece in the works.
Super MMORPG game Pocket Legends for the iOS is now available for Android as well. Coming out of closed beta status, Pocket Legends is a 3D MMORPG with in-game purchases and even an auction/trading style system for you to get rid of unwanted gear. It’s a big game too with updates for content, quests and more all the time.
Haypi Kingdom is a free MMORPG from the iOS platform that will be making the great jump over to the Android OS in the very near future. If you have every played games like Ages of Empires, Warcraft or Ceasary, then you will already have an idea about how this game works. Another time-based game, it features deep gameplay with lots of goodies to keep you busy.
If you haven’t had your fill of the Galaxy Tablet in the news yet then you’re in luck as a double header landed early this morning regarding a new 7-inch Galaxy Tablet by Samsung which includes their new, thinner Super AMOLED screen technology. On top of that, a possible prototype of the rumored 10.1-inch version of the Galaxy Tablet was also spotted.
