Way back in December 2012 we reported on a game called Castaway Paradise from Stolen Couch Games and that the game would be arriving onto Android in 2013. Well it is now 2015 and Castaway Paradise has finally seen the light as a global launch with the game appearing on Amazon’s Appstore earlier this month. In fact the release was so quiet that if it wasn’t for a tip we received this morning, we still wouldn’t have known that this game was even out.

Spacetime Studios will be dropping development of most of their older titles to focus on a select few
Interesting news coming out of Spacetime Studios as the company has announced that they will no longer be updating a majority of their older titles, and even some of their newer ones. Instead the company will focus on a select few titles: Arcane Legends, Battle Command, and a new unannounced project. Everything else will no longer be receiving updates. This does not mean the rest of their games are shutting down.
If you haven’t finished the first episode of the Game Of Thrones series by TellTale Games, you might want to sit down and start working towards that goal. The reason for this is that Episode 2 has now got an official release date and it is not that far off. Also, if you think it will continue the story that is going on in the first episode, you are in for a bit of a surprise.
The ridiculously addictive… and strange… Goat Simulator has received an update that brings quite a bit of new content to the game including a whole new city to cause havoc in. Say hello to your new stomping ground called Goat City Bay! This is certainly not the only addition to the game though.
Released by Aspyr Media, Inc for Android (and originally developed by BioWare and released by LucasArts), Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) is a role playing game that’s been around for over a decade. Back around Christmas, when I saw it was released on Android, I was pretty stoked to grab it up and jump in. Let’s see how things went for me.
Gameloft will be releasing a bit more of a casual puzzle game later this week called Puzzle Pets. This particular game is a match-3 puzzler with ridiculously cute graphics and oddly shaped levels to add to the challenge of matching three or more of the same cute animal head in a row.
The next installment into the Need For Speed franchise will be heading our way soon and there has been plenty of teasing with videos and screenshots being released. Even with all of that available we still don’t know a whole lot about Need For Speed: No Limits which will be coming to Android at some point this year.
Wargaming.net has pushed out a new update for their World of Tankz Blitz game that features a whole new line of British Tanks that have been added to the game. This will show up as a new branch within the British Tank tree and features new heavy tanks for you to eventually unlock and play with. This update is considered the first major release for World of Tank Blitz since the initial launch of the game.
As promised we’ve returned with another list from the shamelessly tacky to the tackily shameless. This is the second collection of all the console imitators available for the Android. While some are amazing stand out games on their own, it’s impossible to ignore their source material.
Pixwing is a rather cool looking game coming from a developer named Dominik Zielinski who you may not know by name, but you do know the games he has worked on. We say this because Dominik is actually one of the developers over at 11-bit Studios, the company behind the Anomaly franchise. Dominik is still working for 11-bit Studios but when he’s not working on games for them, he is working on side projects like the one we are reporting on today called Pixwing.
