If you happen to be a fan of The Binding of Isaac style of gameplay then you’ll be happy to know that there is a new game on Android called Obslashin’ which brings that same sort of top-down dungeon crawling gameplay to us today. Originally released as a soft launch, today marks the game’s international release for everyone to grab a copy and start hacking at enemies.
Not to be confused with KungFu Panda, Snail Games recently released gameplay videos at E3 from their upcoming project Taichi Panda. Snail Games is known for PC games such as Age of Wushu and Heroes of Gaia. It is great to see PC game developers creating new projects for mobile devices. The first game play videos make me wish I had Taichi Panda on my mobile device now, but alas, we will all have to wait a little bit longer because it comes out later this year.
We have been recently covering the development and upcoming release for Gamevil’s upcoming title Darkness Reborn which is basically this sequel for Dark Avenger. Mojang has submitted the newest Minecraft: Pocket Edition update to Apple for approval which generally means that the Android version should also be getting this update pretty soon. While this is a major version number change, the update being version 0.10.0, about 65% of this update happens to be tweaks and improvements to the game, while the remaining 35% consists of new features.
Gameloft’s dungeon crawling RPG title Dungeon Hunter 4 has received a new update that brings with it plenty of new content. This expansion is called Descending Depths and features three new dungeons for players to work their way through. As with any type of content expansion, there also happens to be new gear to find, new features to check out, and new bosses to kill.
DotEmu is another company who is jumping onto Android TV today and out of their catalog they have chosen the Double Dragon Trilogy as their first release for the Nexus Player. To celebrate the game’s launch onto Android TV, DotEmu has discounted the trilogy down to $0.99 for a limited time.
We’ve reported on the possibility that Mika Mobile would be bringing Battleheart Legacy to Android at some point and the company did just that this Halloween. There is a big difference in how this new Battleheart game looks versus how the original one did. For starters, everything is rendered in 3D visuals instead of the flat 2D graphics the original game had.
