Batman Arkham Origins has just been released for Android and It’s free. Batman is one of the more interesting DC heroes (not that that is much of an accolade), and I love NetherRealm’s fighting games; so I immediately downloaded it. How does it play?
Marvel Comics announced at this year’s SD Comic Con (in an interview with Marvel.com) that they’re going to be releasing an upcoming game called Contest of Champions. The actual game development is being done by Kabam, who have released other games like The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth, Fast & Furious 6: The Game, Castle Age HD, and more.
Two days before its intended launch, Modern Combat 5 was leaked to gamers everywhere via torrent. Gameloft is understandably livid. In a perhaps futile effort to stem the tide of users illegally acquiring the game because of the lack of an official launch, Gameloft rushed to push the game’s release ahead by one day.
I’m sure some of you may be puzzled by this… I was. Batman: Arkham Origins showed up in the Play Store a few weeks ago. However, it said that it wasn’t compatible with my devices. King of Fighters 98: Dream Match Never Ends was a 2D fighting game release in (surprise!) 1998 by SNK. Originally released on the Neo Geo, it later was ported to the PlayStation as well as the Dreamcast. What makes this fighting game unique is that it contains all the fighters from releases that came prior to this one, including those that had died in their story arc (which was rebooted with the subsequent release).
The Android rendition of Injustice: Gods Among US received a large (in scale) update adding online multiplayer among other enhancements. The addition of multiplayer on its own makes this game a lot better in some ways, giving it much more replay value.
Previously released on PC and PlayStation 4, War Thunder will be coming to Tegra K1 devices including the Shield Tablet. War Thunder is an expansive WWII MMO that has players piloting planes on either the Allies or the Axis side.
[Updated] Trendy Entertainment officially announces Dungeon Defenders Eternity for Android and Steam
Once a fan favorite before development seemed to stop altogether, Trendy Entertainment’s Dungeon Defenders was a great game to play on Android. Now it seems that life is finally being breathed back into the franchise for Android devices with the launch of Dungeon Defenders Eternity.
Originally scheduled to be released tomorrow, Modern Combat 5: Blackout is actually available now, a day early. For only $6.99 you can experience a graphically intense FPS on your mobile device and if you follow the storyline at all, then you’ll be wanting this fifth installment into the series to take up where you left off in Modern Combat 4.
