The Oregon Trail, a game from back in the day that is still popular and has had many revamps and spin-offs over the years, now has a new indie game development team working on a title which will pay homage to this classic. Currently being developed by a team calling themselves The Men Who Wear Many Hats, this new game will be filled with zombies and pixel art.

Android has seen no shortage of Role Playing Games. From popular tittles such Zenonia to something less conventional such as Battleheart, its safe to say that level grinding on the go has reached new heights. Indie developers have also taken strides into the genre by fusing comedic elements into the script such as previous mentioned tittles. While not necessarily reaching new grounds, Digital Tales hopes to expand the genre with their latest release, Battleloot Adventure.
Back in October of last year we talked about a neat looking indie game coming from Honey Tribe Studios called Ashley Ao. This particular game is an anime inspired sci-fi adventure game that has a hand-painted graphical feel to it. Now we get to see more of the gameplay that will come with this game in a new trailer.
DotEmu was slated to release today one of the more unique games to ever come out during its time, called Another World. Well the good news is they are right on time and Another World 20th Anniversary edition is now available.
Originally released back in 1994, DotEmu’s latest announcement is regarding Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure which will be coming to Android this year sometime in the Fall. The game is also known as Little Big Adventure depending on where you were living when it was released.
While we wait for the upcoming point-and-click adventure game called Journey Down from SkyGoblin, there is a new one heading our way soon from Cateia Games called Kaptain Brawe. Originally released onto PC/Mac before heading to iOS, this game will be arriving on Android in the ‘next few months’.
Nevosoft Inc, developers of the adventure puzzle game called Dream Sleuth, have now released the game onto the Amazon App Store for the Kindle Fire as well as other Android devices. Granted if you own something aside from the Kindle Fire, you can already get this game off of the Android Market.
Pinball fans have a new game that will be arriving onto Android soon to look forward to playing called Momonga Pinball Adventure. Developed by Paladin Studios, this new pinball game looks to bring a whole new style of pinball to Android and judging from the preview trailer, it looks like it will accomplish that goal.
SkyGoblin releases a teaser trailer from their upcoming point and click adventure game, The Journey Down
Back in December of 2011 we talked about a new point-and-click adventure game that would be coming to Android soon called The Journey Down. Developed by SkyGoblin Games, this game will actually be an episodic adventure game series.
By now we have all heard about the Kickstarter Project for Double Fine Adventure by Tim Schafer and 2 Player Productions which has received, as of the time I’m writing this, close to $1.9 million in crowdfunding. This point-and-click adventure game now has a list of platforms it will be arriving on.
