Back in October 2014 we reported on Amazon’s game development studio who happen to be working on three new games that would be heading our way in the near future. One of those games has now been released onto Amazon’s AppStore for their line of Fire tablets.

Amazon has put a little gem of a game up for free today as their Free App of the Day. Developed by Radiangames, Super Crossfighter is a fast-paced arcade shooter where it is all about blasting waves of aliens with your upgradeable spaceship. It can be a very intense game to play.
A new update is available for the Amazon Fire TV that brings more games to the Android based set-top box.
Amazon Games Studio doesn’t put out a lot of games but the ones that they do release are usually pretty good titles. Today they have announced three new titles they have been working on that will be arriving onto Android soon. Of course these games are exclusively for Amazon’s Android devices: the new Amazon Fire Phone and Amazon Fire Tablet.
Back in May of 2014 Youtube/Google and TwitchTV struck a deal for a $1 billion purchase of TwichTV which led to the subsequent integration that now exists between Youtube and TwitchTV. Here we are three months later reporting on Amazon inquiring TwitchTV. Definitely one of those things that makes you go hmmm isn’t it?
Hungarian games developer isTom Games has a few games in the Play Store. They include Paper Train Reloaded, Ship Breaker, Nyan Cat: Lost in Space, Flappy Nyan, Nyan Cat: Jump and a few others. A few months ago, they released an arcade rail shooter on iOS titled Mad Bullets. Mad Bullets became available in the Amazon App Store recently and we expect it to arrive in the Play Store soon, though no date has been confirmed at this point. The game design for Mad Bullets is a blast from the past. It is a vivid and action-filled arcade shooter that is meant to test your reflexes and visual acuity.
This is probably the fastest we’ve seen a device going from announcement to launch, at least when it comes to Nvidia. They are definitely not wasting any time with getting their new Shield Tablet into the hands of Android gamers and today customers in Canada and the US are having their units shipped out.
TellTale Games has finally brought over their rather popular game The Wolf Among Us to Android but there is a bit of a catch to picking this game up, at least for right now. Amazon AppStore has snagged the rights to have a temporary exclusive in regards to the release of The Wolf Among Us.
Amazon is entering the smartphone business with the Amazon Fire Phone. Running on their custom 3.5.0 Fire OS which is Android but heavily altered, the Fire Phone has a set of new features to set itself apart from other phones on the market. With a 4.7 HD display, the Fire Phone’s processor is a 2.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. In layman’s terms, it is very powerful.
This week, prepare to get your game on as several Android games are up for grabs at a reduced price. For those of you whom have missed out on the Amazon Memorial Day giveaway (ends today), here is your chance to still receive a great deal.
