Amazon has announced that they are planning to expand the AppStore’s reach to over 200 countries in the coming months, giving developers who happen to have games and applications for sale on Amazon’s AppStore a much bigger user base to sell to then what is currently available right now.
Amazon is getting ready to spread their wings a little bit more than normal and have announced that they will be offering up their 8.9″ Kindle Fire HD through AT&T later this week. The 8.9″ Kindle Fire HD will actually be at a somewhat reasonable price as well. Of course that is with you signing a 2-year contract of course.
There is one day a year where the world tends to devolve back to when we were 10 years old and pulling pranks and jokes on other people is the standard policy of the day. That day is today April 1st, or otherwise known as April Fools Day for the comically inclined people out there. If you don’t have a sense of humor, this is the worst day of the year for you. Crescent Moon Games announced a few days ago that their massive 3D RPG called Ravensword: Shadowlands would be hitting Android devices on Thursday. Well today is Thursday and sure enough Ravensword: Shadowlands has arrived on both Google Play and Amazon’s AppStore. It is almost incorrect to call this game just an RPG though due to how in-depth it really is.

Crescent Moon Games’ Josh Presseisen announced over Twitter that Ravensword: Shadowlands would be landing on Google Play this Thursday.
Amazon’s AppStore is turning two years old and to celebrate Amazon is throwing a week long sale on a variety of games (and some apps too) with discounts starting at 50% off their regular price while some discounts are even higher than that. The games and apps that are available for sale are from a wide range of genres.
In the world on upcoming Android gaming controllers and consoles there is plenty of options to choose from when you’re considering buying into one. We have OUYA, GameStick, MOGA, SteelSeries and more when it comes to controllers and consoles. One company we’ve talked about in the past, called Green Throttle, is officially launching their product today which basically turns your Android tablet into a console.
For whatever reason Rovio has gotten into the giving mood whether it is because the Chinese New Year is upon us or because they just felt like it. Whatever the case may be, Rovio has slashed the prices on a majority of their paid titles both on Google Play as well as on the Amazon AppStore just in case you want the HD version of each game.
It seems like OUYA news always comes in clumps lately and today is no different as we have a few bits of information regarding the Android powered console to go over. First, for those of you who haven’t pre-ordered a unit yet, you can now do so off of Amazon.com and GameStop.com instead of just through the OUYA website.
