Mad Maks 3D

Mad Maks 3D, developed by Noumena Innovations, is a tank shoot-em-up game where you can pilot different types of tanks and go about in the 3D world destroying all enemy vehicles. Unlike most 3D games of this nature, this particular title is more cartoon in feeling with all the vehicles having faces, expressions and their shape is more along the lines of what you would see in a cartoon style game.

Tetris Released Onto Market

While attempting to flash my Nexus One back to Android 2.1 for some development testing I noticed that the crew over at AndroidSpin have posted that the Official Tetris game by EA is now available on the Android market. The official version of the game has been available since Android’s release it was only available for purchase on outside market websites like Mobihand.

While we here at Droid Gamers have been supporting the Samsung Galaxy S as the reigning gaming phone to get when it hits stores, the Pro version offers up just a little more incentive…a full QWERTY keyboard to make gaming just a bit more easy.

Well it was bound to happen sooner or later with the onslaught of tablets coming to light with Android on them. Hard Kernel, who developed the ODROID, has now developed the ODROID-T. This is a tablet designed with high definition video and gaming in mind. The original ODROID was a PSP looking device running Android 1.6 (upgraded to 2.1) and seemingly sold out quickly.

So far we have seen the Samsung Galaxy S continue to grow in regards to the gaming area of Android due to it’s processor, storage capacity and Super AMOLED screen. Now news has come to light about it’s multitouch capabilities and by the looks of things so far, it’s impressive. The Samsung Galaxy S is now reported to feature Atmel maXTouch sensors.
