So back in February 2015 we reported on Sony’s Playstation Remote Play being ported over to non-Xperia Android devices which includes devices like the Nvidia Shield portable or pretty much any Android device for that matter. TwitchTV has updated their Android app today and this update brings a couple of great features to the app, one of which has been sorely needed. This new update brings the Persistent Player to the app which basically means that video will now continue to play while you re browsing for content.

However that appears to be changing now with Google announcing that they will begin reviewing apps and games to uncover any violations (TOS violations, inappropriate content, rating violations etc etc) and malware.

The Pokemon Company has released an app that lets users customized their Android device with all things Pokemon. In other words, they have released an Home Replacement app that is dedicated to changing the look of your home screen, icons, and other features to reflect your love of the Pokemon world.
It is no secret that Nintendo has been a strong opponent when it comes to bringing official franchises from their platform onto mobile devices. The company absolutely refuses to consider any of their games for non-Nintendo mobile gaming devices. It’s something that we have reported on a few times in the past and yet, here we are talking about Nintendo and an application that may be coming to mobile devices.
Amazon has bundled up past Android applications and games that have at one point been on the company’s Free App of the Day feature. In total the bundle has over $140 worth of free apps and games for you to sift through and download the ones you want… or all of them just because you can.
Amazon has already pushed out one bundle of apps and games back when Christmas was here, offering up a total of over $220 worth of freebies. Now Amazon has a new bundle and this time it is $110 worth of free applications and games for you to take advantage of.
Today the Samsung Gead VR headset has gotten three additional games and applications added for it on the Oculus Rift store. To be more specific, there is one new game and two new applications, both of which are something you’ll want to download for your headset.

A few of the bigger game development companies lately have been making sure to release companion applications for some of their major PC and console game launches. One of these companies is Ubisoft who has launched a companion app for pretty much every release for their more major franchises as of late and Assassin’s Creed Unity is no exception from the rule.
