Android Game Sale Round-Up: Disney games, Dragon Quest titles, Botanicula and a lot more

Easter weekend is here and a lot of people have today off. This also means one thing… Android games going on sale! So as you can imagine, there are plenty of Android games on sale right now and a lot of them are really good. Handy Games is still going strong with their $0.15 sale, Square Enix has jumped into things by discounting a few Dragons Quest titles, and Disney is celebrating Easter with a bunch of games going on sale as well. That’s not mentioning all the other developers out there discounting their games for this holiday weekend.

Disney brings us the new side-scrolling platformer DuckTales: Remastered

We knew this game was coming to mobile but the only information we saw about it was that it would be landing on iOS. So imagine out surprise when we got notified that Disney brought their DuckTales: Remastered over to Android as well. Hello childhood memories, it is a pleasure to see you again!

Corridor Z is a new runner game centered around zombies, that throws in some new ideas to try to freshen up the formula. As an inverted endless runner, the character you control, there are three to choose from, is running towards the screen.

Crossy Roads will be getting updated soon with all new UK-themed content

So Crossy Roads will be getting a pretty interesting update soon for Android. This update, which is already out for iOS apparently, will be adding all kinds of UK-themed content to the game when it does arrive for Android. So what exactly does that mean? Well for starters you can now be killed by a double decker bus.

Depending on where you are located in the world, today is April Fool’s Day or tomorrow will be. Either way the jokes and pranks have already started and the first two spotted come from Google and Samsung. This certainly isn’t either company’s first year of pranks but this year both are quite entertaining to say the least.

New brawler called Marvel Mighty Heroes has arrived in full force today on Google Play

Marvel Mighty Heroes has been in a soft launch for a little bit now but today DeNA and Marvel have dropped the soft launch status and released their game for everyone. This isn’t a head-to-head brawler but more of a beat’em up style of game were up to four players can team up to beat on the villains they come across.

Zen Pinball will be getting the Star Wars treatment with an upcoming Star Wars Rebels table

Boulder Dash – 30th Anniversary Edition gets a premium version released

Boulder Dash – 30th Anniversary Edition was originally released back in October 2014 as a free-to-play game with IAPs available for additional content that players could buy when they wanted to do so. While the free-to-play version has done well for itself, apparently there was enough people out there who asked for a premium version that Tapstar Interactive listened and now there is a premium version available on Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore.
