11 Bit Studios has been busy this month. A few weeks ago they released the much lauded This War of Mine. Following rapidly on the heels of that release, is Spacecom, which is now available to download in the Google Play Store. If you are a fan of strategy games that test your tactical abilities, Spacecom may be the game that you have been waiting for.

Double Dragon is a classic arcade and go!e console game from the late 1980s, and into the 1990s. It was a great game and franchise in its time, popularizing the venerated Beat ‘Em Up genre. The success of franchise spawned several releases over different platforms. The original arcade game, and its first two arcade sequels was ported over to Android, and released by DotEmu, as a single collection. As such, this review will cover this trilogy.
Hahayeah Studios has released their first game onto Android called Tap Backwards which is a mix of reflex gameplay and brain power. As you may or may not be guessing from the game’s name, Tap Backwards will require you to think a little backwards.
Mamor Games has released a sequel to their rather popular endless runner Nosferatu – Run From The Sun. This new game, appropriately named Nosferatu 2 – Run From The Sun, has players taking on the role of Nosferatu, the friendly vampire, as he tries to get out of the sun. However, it isn’t just about getting out of the light.
Released by AlphaPolygon, D.I.S.C is a simple game, that requires swift reflexes. The game seems to have pulled its visual inspiration from the Tron movies, with lots of black, and the few other colors in the game standing out.
Noodlecake’s popular tapping frenzy of a game called Bitcoin Billionaire will soon be getting a pretty massive update called Bitstone to the Past. This will be a very large content update which will be taking Bitcoin Billionaire into the past. How far into the past? Well it looks like there will be some prehistoric goodness with this update.
WeGo Interactive released a 3D arcade game called Cliffy Jump with features the same sort of isometric 3D visual styles as Crossy Road does. In fact there is a fair bit of inspiration found in Cliffy Jump that is largely thanks to Crossy Road, right down to the numerous characters you can find and play as. It is also just as addictive.
Released by Yoojos, Hoba Wars is a whack-a-mole inspired game. Players set out to destroy the evil Hoba, colored in red, by tapping on them when they poke their heads out from their craters. Other innocent Hoba need to be protected, but these green colored Hoba will poke their heads out just the same.
Nitrome has a string of hits on Android. It seems with every release, they are trying something a little bit different, but strangely enough, totally within their ever unfolding wheel house. Their latest game Vault, is an endless runner, and it is downright fun to play. It isn’t easy, but when you string together several vaults, one right after the other, you feel pretty good about it. In short, it is worth a download to play.
Like minimalistic games like Pivot and Bing Bong? Well now there are three new ‘reborn’ ones available
We’ve reported on pretty much most of Nickervision Studios’ releases on Android, mainly because they are pretty fun and enjoyable minimalistic arcade games. There’s Pivot, Bing Bong, and others that have been released over the last little while, all of which are pretty fun. Three of those games now have new ‘Reborn’ versions, all of which have been released today on Google Play.
