SEGA has announced that Sonic Runners will be dashing onto Android devices this week. Up until now, Sonic Runners has been available in select regions during a sort of soft launch period, and by select regions we mean Japan. That will, however, be changing in the next couple of days.

The point of the game, is for players to be able to trace out a path for “Charlie” (the green smiley face) to follow, around various obstacles, ending at the red target. The path must be drawn successfully in under ten seconds.

As you are probably guessing from the name of this game, this is actually the sequel to the original Tiny Troopers game.

After the invasion, and ensuing destruction of your native world, this octopus has set out among the stars to find another home from one that belongs to the original invading aliens.. Amazon’s Free App of the Day today is actually a decent game called Earn To Die from developer Not Doppler. This is the original game in the franchise, with the sequel having been released onto Google Play back in May of this year. So if you picked up Earn To Die 2 when it was released, since it is free, but never played the original, now you can snag it for free as well today.
