“Free-To-Play” are arguably the three most dreaded words in mobile gaming, but KLab Games nearly redeems the much loathed business model with their stellar ARPG, Bleach: Brave Souls. While many F2P games leverage lethargic rates of progress known as “pay walls”, KLab took a gamble on shipping a title that has so much content not hidden behind a pay-wall, that Brave Souls is easily comparable to a full priced game on a dedicated gaming platform such as the Playstation Vita or Nintendo 3DS. Brave Souls strikes a perfect balance between accessible content and in-app-purchases that affords players an opportunity to enjoy the full game without being forced to pay money to proceed further.
Released by Evangelos Karamolegkos, Galaxy Invaders 3D is, as one would reasonably expect from the game’s name, an arcade shooter that’s played in 3D. The game has no real story to speak of, and mostly focuses the action. Players will control a star fighter, located at the bottom of the screen in the standard arcade shooter format.
While Niantic Lab may have canceled their talk and subsequent gameplay show off at GDC for their upcoming Pokemon GO mobile game in exchange for additional development time before showing it off, the company did break the game out for a quick gameplay preview at SXSW 2016.
Released by Underwater Apps, Beat Jumper is a new tower jumper for the Android platform. Players will look to see how high they can climb the “Disco Tower”, a la Doodle Jump. What makes this game different is how it rewards players. The faster players make a decision, the higher the player can jump.

Released by Ubisoft, the classic platformer Rayman has just been released on to Android. Players will assume the eponymous role of Rayman himself. He is seeking to redeem something of great importance, that has been stolen from his homeworld.
