Ouya has launched a program which some people may not like while others will enjoy it thoroughly, especially those of you who own an Ouya. This program, which Ouya has added $1 million of it own cash to, is for Kickstarter projects that are for games. To qualify for the program, those game developers looking for funding will have to agree to have their future title exclusive to the Android-powered console for six months.

In more hardware new, PlayJam has issued a statement confirming that the delays they have been experiencing recently which has postponed the shipping of their portable Android-powered game console called the GameStick isn’t a factor anymore. The company says that it will absolutely make the new August deadline for getting units out to those of you who have purchased one already.
Well here is some rather interesting news that has been revealed through and interview between Edge Online and Oculus CEO Brendan Iribe where details trickled out about what the Oculus company is looking at when it comes to supporting other devices. One would think that the next-gen consoles would be of main interest but that isn’t the case at all.
The other day we talked about a rather interesting game called Eternal Descent: Heavy Metal Heroes which just hit the App Store for iOS devices and is coming to Android in the near future. This particular game is interesting because it is being labeled as an endless brawler, something you don’t see very often at all.
Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture will be bringing their Playstation 3/Xbox 360 shoot ’em up game called Sine Mora over to Android in the very near future. This game was released for consoles in November of last year and is a rather cool 2.5D shooter which, for those of you unfamiliar with what 2.5D is, has the gameplay on two axises while the environment in which you are moving around in is rendered in 3D.
The original creator of Police Quest has decided to hit up Kickstarter for his new game which will be called Precinct. Sort of following in the same footsteps as we have seen with other games like the recently funded and released Leisure Suit Larry title, Precinct will be made for PC and Mac but there is also a stretch goal which will have this new game also arriving onto Android as well as a few other platforms.
Eternal Descent: Heavy Metal Heroes is a game slated for release soon onto iOS with Android, PC and consoles getting a copy of the game next year. This particular game meshes heavy metal music with a fantasy theme and places it in an endless side-scrolling brawler type of game.
An interesting new Steampunk themed Action-RPG title has hit up Kickstarter looking for funding. This particular game is actually a dual-stick Action-RPG so the combat plays out like an arcade shooter but the rest of the game is formatted like an RPG. Visually this game is already looking like an impressive title with some very highly detailed level design.
While we already have a port of open source version of Transport Tycoon, called OpenTTD, but it looks like we are now going to have an official version of the game arriving soon. 31X and Origin8 are teaming up to bring a revitalized version of the original game over to Android sometime later this year.
Well Rovio’s big announcement which was slated for today has arrived and it is the unveiling of Angry Birds Star Wars II. Along with the announcement of a new game, Rovio also announce that there will be Skylander style toys accompanying it and the game’s rather large selection of characters that will be coming with it.
