Assassin’s Creed Identity from Ubisoft will be heading to Android soon

Ubisoft has already released a companion app for the Assassin’s Creed IV game as well as Assassin’s Creed Pirates onto Android. But as for an actual Assassin’s Creed game, there isn’t one yet. That was at least true until today as Ubisoft has quietly released Assassin’s Creed Identity onto iOS (currently in New Zealand and Australia right now) and has the game slated for release onto Android in the near future.

R.G.B. is a cool new color matching running game from Invictus Games

A new endless running game has arrived onto Android called R.G.B. from Invictus Games. This isn’t your standard endless runner though as it features game mechanics similar to that of Guitar Hero. You have three rows, each with their own little character running on them. Each row can have one of three colors appear on itl and when a color comes up to one of your characters, you have to tap there on the screen to swap the correctly colored character to that row.

New puzzle game Birzzle Fever from HalfBrick is now available on Android

If you’re a fan of match three styled games (Bejeweled and Candy Crush are the big ones in that genre), Halfbrick Studios (makers of Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride) has released a new game called Brizzle Fever that you might want to take a look at. This avian themed game is (in some respects) like many other games of that genre: players are given a board and asked to clear pieces by matching three or more of a single kind.

Interview with Lead Game Designer René Laurent of SuperHippo Games about their latest game Pirate Legends TD

SuperHippo Games, based in Ireland, released Pirate Legends TD late last week in the Play Store. Yes, I know what you are thinking. There are an abundance of tower defense games out there. However, few of them take place on the high seas and are full of such robust action as displayed in Pirate Legends. I was given the opportunity to find out more about the game, the company that produced it and how SuperHippo plans to impact the mobile gaming arena. René Laurent, Lead Game Designer for Pirate Legends TD was gracious enough to answer a few questions for me.
