Gamevil’s newest multiplayer title called Duel of Fate has arrived

Gamevil has been steadily releasing games onto Google Play over the past few months and we already know that this will continue on till at least the end of this year. Today sees the next title in their line-up arriving on the Google Play store called Duel of Fate. This new game is a multiplayer card battler with a slightly more mature feel to it. Every monster isn’t some cute Pokemon type of creature.

Goroid sprints onto Android with their gorgeous continuous runner called The End

There are plenty of continuous running games out for Android right now with even more heading our way. However there is one that we reported on back in June 2012 which was absolutely gorgeous looking in terms of visuals and the theme was pretty cool itself. That game, developed by Goroid, is called The End and after a couple of months waiting it is now available on the Google Play store.

Spacetime Studios’ upcoming MMORPG, Arcane Legends, gets its first cinematic trailer

Over the past few months we have been reporting on Spacetime Studios upcoming MMORPG for Android, iOS and Chrome called Arcane Legends. This new title is a combination of all the features and game mechanics that worked well and were popular in their previous games such as the charge attacks and group combo attacks. The game goes back to a more fantasy theme with visuals closer to what you would find in Star Legends or Pocket Legends, the more cartoon like graphics. There will also be new features that will arrive in Arcane Legends when it launches such as the battle pets system.

Wappworks Studio releases their first game, Hyper Grav, on Google Play and in HTML5

A new indie game studio has arrived called Wappworks Studios, a two man team made up of Chris Khoo (an EA alumni) and Chris Ting (a game enthusiast), and they have released their first game for Android called Hyper Grav. This new game is a physics-based action game where you will be taking on mercenaries who have managed to take hostage your society’s sacred symbol, The Arc.

At some point, you’ve probably dreamed of living the life of a subway-surfing, graffiti-spraying, boombox-toting, hoverboard riding kid. Living life on the edge and running from the law. Jumping over trains is your 9-to-5. Every day, 24/7, making your living off of coins you find laying all over the railways. It’s a pretty humble lifestyle, but because because you’re the definition of “Cool”, you can handle it, right? Who are you kidding, of course you can. You’re no match for that cop and his dog. Why? Because you’re a Subway Surfer. Okay, that’s kind of a grittier take on the super-colorful, hyper-stylized world of Subway Surfers, but if you’ve ever fantasized about subway-surfing, this game is for you. And if you haven’t guessed the title by now, the game I’m talking about is Subway Surfers.

Some time back, we published an editorial entitled “In-App Purchases: The Downfall of Android Gaming?”. In the three months between the article getting published and now, the number of games being released for free, or even paid, that contains IAPs for consumable items have increased exponentially. To be honest, finding a game devoid of some form or another of consumable IAPs these days is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Glu has a new action game on the way called Death Dome, here’s a trailer

Glu Mobile has been releasing a lot of games lately and here is another one on the horizon called Death Dome which they are now starting to promote with the release of a trailer. This game is a hack n’ slash titles sporting some rather nice looking 3D visuals and gameplay similar to that found in Infinity Blade while the overall theme of the game seems like something out of Mad Max.
