If you are unfamiliar with what Marble Arena 2 is, it is a game for Windows, Mac and Linux that was created and is maintained by a couple of developers. One application we have been waiting for since CES 2012 is the Tegra 3 optimized version of Splashtop Remote Desktop. Appropriately named Splashtop THD, this is for Tegra 3 only devices and, if you remember our coverage of CES 2012, allowed us to play Skyrim on a Transformer Prime tablet.
World of Tanks MMORTS players now have some extra on-the-go tools to play around with when you are cruising around in your tank laying waste to other players in the game. This ‘Assistant’ app, or companion app as we like to call them, will let you access a few things when not sitting at your computer.
We knew Crytek had their eyes on the mobile gaming arena for some time now thanks to previous job postings for Android and mobile developers as well as some leaks. Now we have a much better idea of at least one thing they are working on and it is called GFACE.
Well that was a pretty quick closed beta for Valve’s official Steam app for Android. having only been released since last week, the beta was a limited closed one where, if you were quick enough to get the app and log-in, you were able to get into the closed beta.
Well this certainly didn’t take long. We have actually known for awhile Valve was considering (read developing) and app for Android and after the recent one we posted about the unofficial Steam app for Android from IBF Programs, Valve has released an official application now.
We mentioned at the beginning of this month that the Rift MMORPG from Trion Worlds would be getting a companion app which would land on both iOS and Android soon. For those of you who play the MMORPG, this was good news and now there is even more good news as the app is now available on the Android Market.
Gameloft has been working on a new feature that will slowly start making its way into a lot of their games soon for Android. This feature is the ability to talk to other players on a particular game you happen to be playing at the time using voice chat over LTE networks.
A few days ago we talked about the rather awesome sounding Rift’s Mobile app that had launched on iOS and was being hinted at by Trion Worlds as coming to Android as well. Now it has been confirmed that, indeed, it will be coming to Android later this month in beta form.
