Games Workshop and Nomad Games have released their third joint effort on Android today called Talisman: The Horus Hersey. This new addition to the Talisman franchise continues to take place within the Warhammer 40K universe, and if you follow the storylines in that world, then you are probably guess from the title of this game that is takes place just after the cataclysmic events of the Horus Heresy.

Warhammer 40K: Regicide Early Access on Steam begins May 5th. Launching on Android later this year.
Released by Hammerfall Publishing, Regicide is designed to be a “fresh take” on the Warhammer 40K universe through a blend of strategy and cinema. The story centers around a group of Space Marines sent to investigate an unusual video transmission that originated from an imperiled frontier world called Hethgar Prime. Early Access for Warhammer 40K: Regicide will be starting soon for the PC version.
Announced last August, Games Workshop’s latest Warhammer 40k game to be released on Android, courtesy of Complex Games, has finally arrived. Officially titled The Horus Heresy: Drop Assault, this is an RTS-style game set in the Warhammer 40k universe.
Back in October 2014 we reported on a new Warhammer 40,000 game heading our way at some point called Regicide. Games Workshop has now released a Collector’s Edition for Warhammer 40,000: Regicide as well as a new trailer to check out which shows what the gameplay will look like.

If you have been a PC gamer for a long period of time then you might remember way back in the day when Chess games started getting released for PC that featured animated pieces. These pieces would move and if there happen to be an opponents piece in their new spot, they would attack it. These attacks were fully animated as well. It looked pretty cool back then and we have had many iterations of the same idea since. Games Workshop will be bringing a similar concept to the Warhammer franchise soon.
Cyanide Studio has been working on bringing the bloody football game Blood Bowl to mobile and it appears the wait for its release is almost over. Inspired by Games Workshop’s Warhammer franchise, Blood Bowl features plenty of fantasy-based races to build your team with before heading out onto the field to essentially harm everything in your way to score points.
Rodeo Games is jumping into the Unreal Engine 4 scene with a new license for Epic Games’ next-gen game development engine. This company is already known for a few of their titles as well as their partnership with Games Workshop who owns the Warhammer IP and have released one game under that franchise already called Warhammer Quest.
Games Workshop is a company known for a few big franchises that have been around for awhile and have graced a variety of platforms including physical games. We now have some of their games making the journey to mobile as well with one of the most recent titles to come from the Games Workshop catalog being Talisman Prologue. Well you can look forward to another board game coming your way soon called Chainsaw Warrior.
