There is a new Minecraft inspired game available on Android now called Cubic Castles. Developed by ex-PopCap developers, their goal was to create a sandbox-style game like Minecraft but adding in the playful gameplay style found in a lot of Nintendo classics like Super Mario Bros. Think platformer and sandbox building game combined into one title with cute graphics.

Great news for all the Borderlands franchise fans out there! The newly announced Borderlands Online for PC will also be coming to mobile! However the bad news is that the release of this game for PC and mobile has been announced for China only right now.

It is one thing to make a game that ends up competing for the player base for a particular game or two. It is another thing altogether to develop a game with the goal to knock a specific title that is already released out of the first place spot for their genre. However that is exactly what Fire Quest – Age of Titans is aiming to do with Clash of Clans.
Apparently nothing shows the Christmas Spirit better than two robots beating the crap out of each other. At least that is the impression we are starting to get thanks to the amount of robot-themed combat games that seem to be getting released over the past couple of weeks. As you may have guessed, since we are writing this, that another one has landed on Google Play called Android Overkill.
OddWorld Inhabitants has released a new Oddworld game onto Android over on the Amazon AppStore called Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath. For those of you not familiar with this game, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath has a Western theme to it, except everything is filled with different alien species.
[Updated] SEGA to bring their strategy game Chain Chronicle to a worldwide audience in December
SEGA is teaming up with a company called gumi Asia in order to bring their popular strategy game Chain Chronicle to a worldwide audience next month. Currently this game is enjoying a fair bit of success over in the Eastern part of the world but has remained location-locked to that area. This is going to change though in the very near future though.
The Banner Saga only hit Google Play in November and already we are hearing that the sequel to this game, appropriately named The Banner Saga 2, will also be making its way to mobile devices soon. Stoic Studios made the announcement today and while it was mainly focused on the PC and console version, hidden a bit inside is that the sequel will also be coming to mobile devices.

Papercraft games anyone? Lately, there have been more games using this art style and I love it. They generally produce unique characters, as well as rare game play mechanics. The latest title to use this style of artwork, is coming from game design studio Arkadium Games. Arkadium Games has been in business since 2001. The company was started by Jessica Rovello and Kenny Rosenblatt. The company now has multiple offices from New York to Crimea. They have created, what appears to be, a gem of a game, called Twisty Hollow. It will be arriving for Android devices soon.
Back in November 2012 Valorware released an open-world RPG called 9th Dawn that has done pretty well for itself. Apparently it did well enough to warrant a sequel and that is exact what is heading our way soon. Officially it will be called 9th Dawn II and it will incorporate the same the original one had in regards to a more modern design for combat combined with classic RPG style of gameplay.
