Ripoff Birds is a new physics-based game featuring birds in what seems to be forming into a genre of its own; mobile bird games. This one takes a jab at other bird games that have ripped off other games while offering in the description’s words “truly original *cough* gameplay.”
Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff the game that allows you to take Quahog with you in your pocket
For those of you who are fans of Family Guy show you can now play the official Family Guy game on Android and iOS. In the game Peter Griffen has accidentally destroyed Quahog in a battle with the giant chicken and now he must save and the city. In order to do that you must rebuild the city by taking on the roles of various characters from the show and send them on hilarious quests that will affect the whole town.
There’s been a few games dealing with the art that is fake drug dealing but they are usually about trying to make the most money you can before you are caught or die. Go Kane! from SuperSike Games takes this genre to another level by adding some humor and a bit of a love story. Granted you’ve already got the girl, you just need to rescue her from the people who kidnapped her.

Alright, we don’t post anything about iPhone or iOS generally at all, mainly because we are an Android gaming news website. So if we are posting something related to an iPhone, although the game Flappy Bird itself was on Android, you know it has to be a pretty decent WTF moment.
Tin Man Games is well-known for their interactive RPG books on Android, whether it be their own Gamebook Adventure series or bringing to life digitally the Fight Fantasy series of books. Well today the folks over at Tin Man Games have released something a little less serious but just as much fun called Zombocalypse Now.
The Anchorman now has an official game on Google Play and while it isn’t the most in-depth game available to play it is entertaining to a degree. The official name of the game is Scotchy Scotch Toss and essentially you’ll be tossing ice cubes into Ron Burgundy’s Scotch glass. He’ll then reward you with some sort of humorous but helpful banter.
A rather unique game has landed onto Google Play called Never Alone Hotline. In this game you’ll be running your own phone hotline and will be receiving calls from random people, and yes sometimes even kittens, which you will need to respond to. How you respond to each call is up to you.
From time to time we get a big game released onto Google Play that ends up getting pulled almost immediately after the game has launched. This is usually due to some technical error with the game that needs to be fixed and also to make sure that a bunch of people don’t download the game, experience the bug and leave bad ratings and reviews. This is basically what happened with the new Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded.
Apparently a Japanese arcade has decided to take steps to ensure that the fine folks who are in their arcade are spending money and not sitting around playing mobile games instead. So what did this arcade do to try and persuade patrons to spend their money on the arcade’s games? Ban smartphones of course. While this is definitely filed under the ‘Humor’ category of news, there is some interesting things to note about this situation.
