The Tokyo Game Show came with much more news for mobile gaming than we thought it would which is always nice and among the news was Sony’s announcement of the Playstation Suite SDK for developing games for Playstation Certified devices and a more vague announcement of a push for content on those devices.
G5 Entertainment is continuing it’s strong push onto the Android Market with another release date announced for another new game coming our way. Another Hidden Objects game with a detective theme this time called Special Enquiry Detail: The Hand that Feeds will be landing on Android Sept. 29th.
Back on September 7th we revealed OrangePixel’s upcoming retro platformer called StarDash which would be heading to Android. Well we now have an official release date for StarDash which is September 22nd for this GameBoy inspired title.

It has been rather quiet lately in regards to Lodsys and their friendly patent trolling but all good things must come to an end and that is the case today. According to a post over on Reddit, Justin Smith, the developer of the Tiny Wings clone on Android called Dillo Hills has gotten a Lodsys Patent Infringement welcome package.
If you follow this site on a regular basis then you already know about a great little app called Splashtop Remote HD which will let you stream whatever is on your PC/laptop onto your Android device. This is great if you want to play browser MMORPGs or any other browser game for that matter.
Well after a long haul of being US residents only, the Amazon App Store for Android seems to be making it’s way to other continents now as well. Currently there has been no official word of the availability of the Amazon App Store for Android moving to other areas but it is confirmed that downloads are working.
It seems as though more and more classic arcade games are making their way to Android these days and today is no exception as Sony Ericsson has announced that Lode Runner will be making it’s way over to the Xperia Play soon. This will be another Xperia Play exclusive title which is set to be released in a few months.
The classic 2D alien shooter, R-Type is back from it’s alien hibernation. Be prepared for a long battle as the game carries over all its original features. It’s guaranteed to keep you entertained for a whole bunch of peretrons, or hours to us humans.
Last month we reported on a new game coming from Game Insight called Crime Story. While Game Insight may not be a familiar name to you, chances are you’ve heard about or played their previous games on the Android Market such as Paradise Island.
