Monster Hunter style game The World II begins limited region testing complete with multiplayer finally
We have only had a few games arrive on Android that would be considered a Monster Hunter style of game, and even those games don’t really reach the level that Monster Hunter is at as a franchise. However, there are a couple of them that do come close but unfortunately lack certain elements such as multiplayer. One of those games is called The World II: Hunting Boss which is pretty much Monster Hunter on mobile but only as a single-player game. Multiplayer has been promised for a long time for that game, and now it appears that the planned multiplayer expansion will, in fact, be a separate release.
There is always a surprisingly good release from an independent game studio. IRE: Blood Memory by Tenbirds, is such a game. The game is ripe with action, akin to Diablo or Monster Hunter. The difficulty level is ramped up, the graphics are stunning, and the game reveals its depth, the more you play.
Oh Capcom, what are we ever going to do with you and you’re weird sense of priority when it comes to releasing games but for only one country. Capcom has been a bit busy lately and are starting the new year off strong with another game release. This time it is a title from the Monster Hunter series of games called Monster Hunter Dynamic Hunting.
If you happen to live in Japan and are into mobile gaming then you have some great news regarding some upcoming games. Capcom’s popular Monster Hunter series is getting a new addition called Monster Hunter: Massive Hunting which will be arriving on iOS and Android this year. In addition to that, Tecmo Koei will be dropping Ninja Gaiden for One Million People (roughly translated from Japanese) onto both platforms as well, both of with will be integrated onto GREE’s social gaming platform Mobage.
A possible second Monster Hunter title looks to be coming to Android on the Mobage platform from Capcom this February. Titled Monster Hunter with Everyone: Card Master, this will be a social multiplayer card battle game for smartphones.
