[Update: Gameplay Video] Gamevil will be globally launching Dragon Blaze on Android in May. Pre-launch event begins next week.
Gamevil has announced today that their popular game in Korea called Dragon Blaze will be getting a global launch on Android this May 2015. On top of that, the game will have a pre-launch event where players can sign-up ahead of time for Dragon Blaze to receive a reward (an exclusive S-rank ally card) when the game actually launches. The pre-launch event doesn’t begin till April 6th, 2015, which is next week.
Bandai Namco will be letting Japanese developers pitch them game ideas with existing Bandai Namco IPs
Bandai Namco has announced plans to allow Japanese developers to pitch them game ideas and similar subjects that use Bandai Namco’s catalog of existing IPs (Intellectual Properties). These plans are similar to what Square Enix has begun doing recently as well.
Machinata is a new puzzle game from a game development studio going by the name of Neckbolt. This is their first release onto Android and it isn’t a bad little puzzle game at all. The goal is to guide the robot through each hazard-filled stage, cleaning up the radioactive waste properly in order to complete each level.
2K Games has just announced that they’re releasing a new WWE game, this spring. What makes this game different from the other WWE game by 2K is that the gameplay is that of actual wrestling (or as close as WWE gets), instead of a card based game.
Marvel Mighty Heroes has been in a soft launch for a little bit now but today DeNA and Marvel have dropped the soft launch status and released their game for everyone. This isn’t a head-to-head brawler but more of a beat’em up style of game were up to four players can team up to beat on the villains they come across.
Doodle Adventures is a drawing game that’s been released by Asduffo. In Doodle Adventures, players are tasked with rebuilding the doodle kingdom, yet they don’t assume the role of the protagonist Dudol. Rather, players will “fill in the gaps” on a given level to allow Dudol to make it to the end.
Star Wars fans have a little something to look forward to in the world of pinball as Zen Studios has announced that Star Wars Rebels will be getting its own pinball table soon. For those of you not familiar with Star Wars Rebels, this is actually a critically acclaimed animated TV show on Disney XD.
