Verizon will be pushing out a new update to Droid X owners in the very near future, version 2.3.340. Included in this update, according to the documents, is EA Mobile’s Madden 2011 game which was supposed to be available by now to Android gamers. Considering this, it looks like the reason it hasn’t bee released is due to Verizon nabbing an exclusive on it.

Our resident Gamevil hound, Chris Summerland, managed to get Gamevil to mention their new upcoming RPG game for mobile (iOS), Illusia, and that it will also be coming to Android in the future. Illusia is a mesh of platform/side-scrolling action gaming and RPG.
With Angry Birds Seasons now available for iOS and Android, getting updates out shouldn’t be too much of a hassle, at least we would hope so. PocketGamer is stirring up the rumor mill with a post talking about the next update for the ‘Seasons’ version of Angry Birds. What is it? Valentine’s Day according to them!

Spearhead Entertainment is a promising game development house who recently released the great action/platform game Phoenix Spirit onto Android. Continuing with the release of the high quality game, Spearhead Entertainment announced today that they will be releasing Mana Chronicles, their action-RPG game onto the Android Market Dec. 15th.
ngmoco:) today announced the first game they will be publishing on Android and although we were slightly off in our prediction as to what that game would be (we though it would be We Rule), it is still a pretty big title. Pocket God, developed by Bolt Creative, is a very popular game for iOS and it has now made the trip to Android.
We spoke too soon regarding MMORPGs and at the rate things are going, soon we will be able to play World of Warcraft on your Android phone. Oh wait..we can! Haven’t gotten your fill of MMORPGs on your Android Phone yet? Good because there isn’t many of them anyways but we can add at least one more to the list that will be making the journey to Android. Called “A Mystical Land”, developed by Mad Otter Games and publishers Neonga, this 3D MMORPG will be landing on pretty much every platform imaginable.
The recently released game from Full Tilt Poker called Rush Poker has apparently been yanked off the Android Market. The game, which lets player play Full Tilt Rush Poker for real money on their Android devices, may have been the first casualty of the new rating system. The original reason was cited as being ‘maintenance’ although possible untrue.
Yesterday we got tipped off by Dave who has been on Gameloft’s ass since their DRM mix up a few months back. He mentioned to us that a quick appearance of Let’s Golf 2 had shown itself on the Gameloft website in the Android section. When we went to check it out, it had disappeared. However, checking this morning, there it was!
