The big gaming conference in China, called Chinajoy 2015, has begun and one of the first things to come out of that show is the first trailer for Borderlands Online on mobile. We originally reported on this game coming to mobile back in December of last year, where it was at least confirmed for a release in China.
We have been covering the development and upcoming release for Fedeen Games’ upcoming MMORPG called Forsaken World Mobile. However, we have never been able to give any sort of an exact release date, only that it would be coming soon. We did, however, mention that we figured it would be arriving this month and it looks like we were right as Fedeen Games has announced a July 23rd release date.
Spacetime Studios has announced that the newest content expansion for their MMORPG on mobile called Arcane Legends has now gone live. This content expansion will begin with everyone in the game having the option to participate in an event which will essentially ‘open’ the expansion for everyone.
Albion Online is a MMORPG a lot of people are looking forward to play. It was originally announced that the PC MMORPG would be coming to multiple platforms including Android and iOS last year and since then the game developers have been hard at work making sure everything runs smoothly. This game actually had a brief closed alpha testing period a little while ago (earlier this year), making this Summer Alpha the second time the game has opened up to the public.
LEGO has announced today that their upcoming LEGO Minifigures Online game will be featuring full cross-platform support, which includes mobile devices, and will be officially arriving next week. That means players on all platforms (PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android) will be sharing the same persistent online world with people on different platforms at the same time.
Mobile gamers do not have a shortage of collectible card combat games, otherwise known as CCGs or TCGs depending on how you like to word them, and most of these games are pretty decent. Some are quite good, but the majority end up in the decent sort of rating. Unfortunately that means the genre is starting to become a little tired because of the sheer amount of these types of games being released. Even so, once in awhile there’s one that comes along that looks pretty good and Warhammer: Storm of Magic looks like one of those.
Asobimo Inc. has been responsible for a few rather good MMORPGs for mobile devices including the recently released Izanagi Online which turned out to be pretty good back when we went hands-on with it while in beta form. Since then it has grown nicely. The company also has a few MMORPGs currently in beta testing as well, some of which have been in beta testing for awhile. One of those is Toram Online, which is currently available for beta testing in certain locations (mainly Asia), and today it has been updated with some new content to check out.
Gameloft’s new RTS game called Siegefall is currently being shown off at E3 2015 and while the company has been teasing this game for a little bit now, no release date had been unveiled until now. Siegefall is a fantasy-themed online multiplayer RTS game where players will build up their kingdom, research technologies, build up their armies, and beat on other people’s kingdoms. The team that developed Modern Combat 1-4 also made this game.
Snail Games has officially announced that an Age of Wushu game, based off of the company’s PC MMORPG title of the same name, will be coming to Android in the near future. While the original game is a full-fledged MMORPG for PC gamers to play, and has done pretty good for itself since its release, this new game will actually be a bit of a spin-off called Age of Wushu Dynasty.
One of the more anticipated game releases heading our way soon is the launch of Forsaken World Mobile by Fedeen Games. We’ve already written about this game a few times but if you happened to have missed our previous coverage regarding this game, this is a port of the actual MMORPG Forsake World currently available for PC gamers to play.
