LG just held their press event moments ago where the much leaked LG G2 was officially announced. This is quite the beastly Android phone where LG has gone and switched out from using a Tegra chipset, which they used in their LG G2X, and have gone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset which makes this a quad-core phone running at 2.26GHz.
Alright so by now we all know that the Xperia Play exists and we’ve seen the insides of it, seen it in action playing games and even watched Engadget fondle it. Now to really solidify the fact it is real, since Sony Ericsson keeps saying it is not, we now have an official commercial about the Xperia Play!
So it seems Samsung may very well be releasing Android first ‘mini’ phone. The Samsung S5830, as it is dubbed, features an interesting silver/gray siding to it while the back is a nice glossy black, similar to the Nexus S. Judging from the photos it only has one rear facing camera and overall looks like a mini Nexus S with silver accents.
So the device that doesn’t exist, according to Sony Ericsson reps during CES 2011 we talked to, has gotten dismantled and laid naked in front of us for all to see. You would think by now they would just admit the damn thing exists outright and at least send us one! Ahh wishful thinking isn’t it? Anyways, TGBus decided to dismantle the Playstation Android phone.
Here is the best way to get the week started, more Xperia Play gameplay video! In this video we see a user loading up the Playstation ROMs for Resident Evil 2 and Ridge Racer via ROM Buddy. While this most likely won’t be how actual Playstation games will be loaded into the phone for playing, it is a neat temporary solution.
The Android Playstation Phone seems to get a new leak or tipster every week now which is always nice. A few days ago another tipsters came forward to reveal new information about the Playstation Phone including graphics and how they look as well as the price point for games for this device. I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised at the pricing!

While not a complete denial regarding the rumored Android Playstation Phone that has been under development, leaked, rumored about and basically beat down with a stick, Sony during their earnings call were asked about whether this device was real. Instead of answering with a denial of its existence, Sony talked about how it would happen.
Before diving into this update about the Sony Android Playstation phone which has basically split the gaming world in half as to whether it is real or not, please remember that yesterday Sony was claiming the pictures Engadget posted were fake, not that the device was fake. The only people to claim the device doesn’t exist was Sony Ericsson.
New photos of the rumored Sony PSP Go-like phone that is apparently under development have surfaced confirming the existence of this device. Also coming to light are a lot more of the specs this little device will be running and it is pretty impressive so far. We have been on top of this story since the rumor first broke, even having a source confirm it for us as well.
