True Axis, game creator of the excellent titles, True Skate, Space Tripper and Jet Car Stunts, has finally released the sequel to their award winning game, Jet Car Stunts for Android. Jet Car Stunts 2 is now available in the Play Store, and we couldn’t be more excited to try it out. True Axis is known to take their time, to make sure that their games are well-polished, before they are released. [Updated] Coming Soon to Android: Flyhunter Origins – An Extremely Likable Character on an Unlikely Space Adventure
If I were to mention animated movies such as The Incredibles, Toy Story, Brave, Ratatouille and Monsters University, what is the first thing that would come to mind? It would probably be Disney-Pixar and the wonderful stories and animation that they have created. If you are a fan of any of those movies you are in luck. Steel Wool Games is a new studio created by five artists that have been working in the animation industry for many years. With the aid of Ripstone Publishing, Steel Wool Games will release their first project, Flyhunter Origins this summer. It will be available for Android and Tegra powered devices in addition to other platforms. The game is prominently displayed as one to play on the new Nvidia Shield tablet.
The third installment into the Random Heroes franchise will be arriving tomorrow onto Google Play. Random Heroes 3 doesn’t stray too far from the already popular franchise in terms of how the game is player and its visual styling.
Just because the week is over doesn’t mean there aren’t great games to be discovered. If you are in a rush and only have a few moments to get some gaming in this weekend, you should try a game called Box Wars. RM Apps is a game studio based in Germany, created by Jorg Reuss and Alex Mircer. They have a couple of apps in the Play Store, such as Belly Bird 3D, Good Night Sheep and the recently released, Box Invaders. There isn’t too much information to be found out about the studio at this time. Even their website says coming soon. So what do we know? We know that Box Invaders is a pretty good game, if you want to challenge yourself. The controls are fluid and the graphics are impressive. Though the sound in the game is sparse, it somehow fits well within the scope of the game. Box Invaders is an endless (walker) runner with a twist.
Bulkypix has also jumped onto the Nexus Player game release hype train today with an announcement that four of their games are now available for the Nexus Player. All four games have been fully optimized to work with the Nexus Player, bringing the games to your full screen.
Android users have a choice with so many things. That is why a lot of people choose Android devices, because of the flexibility the OS provides. OrangePixel’s sequel to their original Meganoid game has made the jump from Google Play to the Ouya console today. Meganoid 2 is the company’s rather challenging platformer that has been out on Android for a bit now and can finally be played natively on the Ouya console.
