One of Bulkypix’s biggest games is about to get a sequel according to the email we received this morning from our friends over there. Saving Private Sheep 2 will be bringing the battle back to Android once again with the wolves and other similar creatures who like to eat sheep.
Developers at HandyGames have just flipped the page we were currently in with their previous revamp of Townsmen, which we talked about a couple of days ago. Now, they’re back in the puzzle gamess territory with a new game that will get to that part of your heart you try to avoid from time to time: your helpless love for puppies.
Ok, so the third Humble Bundle for Android is here, but you might be scratching your head and wondering “What the heck are those games”? Well, fear not, I felt the same too. I’ve heard a lot about Fieldrunners and a little on SpaceChem in passing reference before, but never played either.
Today saw the third Humble Bundle for Android launch and one game that is included in the package is the award winning Spirits by Spaces of Play. At the time we wrote about the Humble Bundle launching, we checked to see what games were on Google Play that haven’t been there until now. Bit.Trip Beat was one, Uplink will stay Humble Bundle exclusive for a bit we think, but Spirits wasn’t there, until now.
One of the other game we talked about yesterday during 11 Bit Studios announcement of a couple of upcoming Android games including Anomaly Korea was Sleepwalker’s Journey. We now have more details about this game include the first screenshots and trailer for this new puzzle platformer.
Last week we talked about Rovio teasing a new female character that would be making its appearance in the Angry Birds franchise. We guessed it would be a bird, mostly due to the fact Rovio has really never teased a new pig character ever. Well now it is official, there will be a new pink bird and she will be arriving in soon first in Angry Birds Seasons.
It looks like the Angry Birds franchise is about to get another addition to the roster of birds to fling at pigs and this time it looks like this new agitated bird will be female bird. Granted we are going to assume that this will be a female bird and not a female pig simply because there have been no prior teasing of pig characters for Angry Birds.
Herocraft has just released a new puzzle game onto Android called Dragon’s Lore which has you playing as the young dragon Kirin who is out to return a magical lute to the Goddess of Art. This particular puzzle game is a match-3 block buster where you will add blocks to the field, matching up the colors to eliminate them.
iBlast Moki from Godzi Lab has been out on Android for awhile now and the developers have finally decided that it is time that their hit puzzle game had a sequel. Appropriately named iBlast Moki 2, this game a whole new selection of physics-based puzzle gaming for you to get through and, should you manage to do that, you have a level editor available as well.
The beginning of Gamescom is nearing and with that some companies are already releasing what they will be showing off at Europe’s premier gaming event. Square Enix has released their full line-up of games that will be out for demoing at Gamescom including their upcoming mobile line-up which we previously talked about, including Final Fantasy Dimensions.
