A portal inspired puzzle platformer called Nex has been in a beta stage of testing and development over the last little while but those beta tags have now officially been dropped and the full version of the game has launched onto Google Play. Featuring Portal-esque style 3D visuals and a first-person point of view, Nex is a unique looking game to sink your time into.
Psionic Games have released a new point and click adventure escape game called Killer Escape. As you may have guessed from the title, you awaken in a dark dank cell in which a serial killer has put you there, most likely in order to kill you at a later time. With that being your final fate if you don’t do anything, you are off to figure out how to escape from this cell and hopefully to freedom.
A rather neat indie puzzle platformer has arrived on Google Play from Colorcoder called Doggie Blues 3D. You’ll be playing as a blue dog who is on a quest to become a full-fledged sheep herding K9 instead of the sad little blue pooch he is right now. It is actually quite the impressive little indie game that platformer fans might want to check out.
It looks as though yesterday’s Greatest Hits free apps and games promo was only for one day and is now over. However, Amazon’s free app/game of the day continues to chug along and today’s freebie is actually a game from Sega called ChuChu Rocket. Yesterday Mediocre Games decided to announce that they were well into the development of a sequel for their physics-based puzzle game Sprinkle. The still unnamed game, although we will just all it Sprinkle 2 for now, has some interesting speculation surrounding it that it will also feature some of the mechanics from Granny Smith.
Usually there is only one free app or game of the day over at the Amazon AppStore but today we are treated to a ‘Greatest Hits’ promotion where Amazon has put up some of their best free apps and games from the past year back up for free once again. Electronic Arts is actually having quite the sale this holiday seasons and it goes much further than Need For Speed: Most Wanted and Contre Jour being only $0.99 for the holidays, while a lot of the free-to-play games EA has, such as TheSims and Theme Park, are having sales regarding in-game purchases. There also happens to be holiday themed items you can find in some of those games as well.
