CSR Racing now available worldwide for drag racing fans

Natural Motion Games has finally released CSR Racing on a worldwide scale on Google Play today. Originally released as a location-specific test run last week, the game is now available for drag racing fans everywhere to download. Natural Motion Games are responsible for some pretty epic sports games already like the Backbreaker football series.

Amazon offers up their Free App of the Day Greatest Hits collection

Amazon’s AppStore is currently celebrating their second birthday and has been doing so for the past week with a variety of games and apps on sale for 50% or more off their regular price. While this sale is still going on, Amazon has decided to release a collection of games and apps for free as well as part of the celebration, calling this list the Greatest Hits collection of titles that at one point were showcased as a Free App of the Day.

Do EA microtransactions really push it that far?

I downloaded Real Racing 3 by game giant EA in the hopes of enjoying a bit of “real” racing. Usually every racing title I experience is cartoony or over-the-top, and I was in the mood for a game that made me feel more, I don’t know, real. The game cost nothing so I had no excuse to try it out. We’ve talked about it on the site before but I was eager to see just what all of the fuss (much of which I found out about later) was about. Being that EA had recently ran into more drama than they could possibly ever want when Sim City’s servers blew up, I was even more eager to see how they fared in the mobile market. I normally skip their games and go for Gameloft when I want a larger, shinier title.
