In terms of content OUYA seems to keep on growing bigger and bigger. While not all of the games submitted during OUYA’s CREATE contest will be made into full titles for us to play, there are still plenty of them that will become full titles and there are plenty of developers outside of the CREATE contest working on games for the Android powered console.
Refresh Creations has released Super Grid Run, a quick and simple game which involves you navigating a cube through endless corridors of neon perils and pickups, onto the Google Play Store. Controls are simple, tap to move your floating neon cube and dodge retro looking neon walls for as long as you can.
There are plenty of us out there who are fans of the games Kairosoft puts out onto Google Play, having sunk many hours into creating the best game development studio or trying to make our village the home of many adventurers. With that said, here are some of the games we hope to see arrive in English in the near future.
A couple of weeks ago Namco once again got all nostalgic on us with the release of a new game that many of us are familiar with… Galaga. As one of the earliest space-themed arcade shooters, many of us drop plenty of quarters into them in the hope of getting the high score on that particular machine. Fan of the comic strip series by Penny Arcade and subsequently their retro-style RPGs have a little bit of bad news today. It seemed like a lot of people had been waiting for Penny Arcade to release their games onto Android and when On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 finally arrived on Google Play, a lot of people seemed happy about it.
Zenonia 5 got an update the other day that finally added raid mode. You know… that button on the status screen that said COMING SOON! when you press it? Well, its here now. Unfortunately, it’s also expensive. Each and every run through raid mode is going to cost you some Zen. Not a whole lot, but if you plan on doing raids often its going to stack up.
Almost two weeks ago we mentioned that two Kairosoft games had appeared on Google Play for residents of Japan and users who use Market Enabler. Kairosoft is usually pretty quick now with translating their Japanese released games over to English and so two weeks after posting about those games, Kairosoft has released one of them called Dream House Days onto Google Play.

A rather cool little arcade game has arrived on Google Play that features some of those glowy visuals you tend to find in retro style games. Developed by AGC Games, Threedot is a casual little arcade game where you control Threedot, a microscopic organism that pretty much hates all the other microscopic organisms around him, usually because they look like they are trying to eat him.
Two games have successfully achieved their funding goals over on Kickstarter with both games coming to OUYA while one of the games is also slated for an Android release and the other game will arrive on Android devices should it reach one of their stretch goals. Interestingly enough, both games also have almost the same amount of time remaining in their campaigns on Kickstarter.
