A few days ago we talked about a top-down shooter that was once really popular for the Amiga back in the day. Recently, the game got redone and was made available for anyone who had a Playstation Certified device and Playstation Mobile. Now, Alien Breed is available for everyone on the Google Play store.

The year 1997 has come back to like in the form of those digital pets from Japan called Tamagotchi that a lot of kids lost their minds over when they first came out. Now those children are adults and Tamagotchi has come back to life but on Google Play this time. So all of those children who loved these digital pets back then, who happen to be adults now, can lose their minds all over again.
Final Fantasy has long been a definitive name in the world of RPG’s, ever since the original on the NES. Since, there have been thirteen numbered games, countless spin-offs and sequels, a couple of movies, plenty of remakes, and a legacy that has made the name Final Fantasy a familiar one no matter who you’re talking to.
If you happen to own a device that is Playstation Certified then you’ve probably already have been enjoying the Amiga classic game Alien Breed since mid-November of last year. The rest of the Android world who doesn’t have access to Playstation Mobile have been left out in the cold, being unable to play this classic top-down shooter game. That is until now.
Well folks, it’s now officially in the Play Store. Battle Ninja Village is officially listed in the Japanese Play Store and at the rate of conversion means we are more then likely only weeks or months from having an English translated version. If you want to get a head start, or if you like fiddling and trying to figure out a game in Japanese, it will cost you $4.68 to do so.
DotEmu has brought another Neo Geo classic to Android for SNK Playmore and this time it is the missing Metal Slug 2 game. We say missing because we’ve has the first one and the third one available already, we were only missing the second Metal Slug game to keep the series whole.
From the makers of Doodle Grub comes a new announcement about a new game that will be heading our way soon called The Sandbox. Fans of pixel art are going to find their own personal little heaven with this game as players will be able to create worlds that will be completely in pixel art. You will also be able to destroy worlds in a blaze of pixel art chaotic glory as well.
With the upcoming (eventual) release of Final Fantasy IV for Android, I decided it’d be a good time to write up a review for Final Fantasy III. Final Fantasy III has been one of my all-time favorites in the series since the original NES release was translated in the emulation community. It set the ground for the class change system from Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and every other game in the series since that gave you the ability to change your character’s class.
It seems like OUYA news always comes in clumps lately and today is no different as we have a few bits of information regarding the Android powered console to go over. First, for those of you who haven’t pre-ordered a unit yet, you can now do so off of Amazon.com and GameStop.com instead of just through the OUYA website.
Kemco’s recent sale may be over but the company has more titles on the way for your to drop your money on and their newest offering is a retro-style RPG called Covenant of Solitude. This particular title though features some new mechanics not seen before in any of their previous titles.
