OpenFeint’s new investor is… Intel? Sort of…

Aurora Feint, developers of OpenFeint, seems to have gotten a new investor and as the title suggests it is ‘sort of’ Intel. Actually it is Intel Capital, which is the the investment branch of the Intel corporation similar to that of Google Ventures. This investment will help Aurora Feint push more great games and content to more mobile devices including Android.

The racing game that everyone had been looking forward to is now available on the Android Market. It was originally called Deliverance, Reckless Racing has been long overdue to being released on the market. It was delayed a few times and then word about the game simply disappeared so it being available now suddenly is a surprise and a half.

Mini Army by OrangePixel receives big update

Mini Army, that cool little game by OrangePixel based off the old Snake game but completely redone, was updated today with a rather large update. Angry Birds bug unlocks any world in-game

Well this is rather awesome. There is a bug inside the Angry Birds game someone found out and posted the instructions on Reddit. A user going by the name of Braaaiins found the bug and after trying it myself it does work, quite well in fact. However the instructions are a bit misleading when talking about keeping the worlds unlocked.

EA to acquire Angry Birds/Cut The Rope publisher Chillingo?

While not 100% Android related gaming news this is pretty big news either way and it will have something to do with Android in the future. Rumor has it that a few companies are interested in acquiring Chillingo who were the publishers that released Angry Birds as well as the new smash hit Cut The Rope onto the iOS platform. The main one interested? EA.
