People who play Gamevil’s Puzzle-RPG called Dungeon Link have been waiting for a few particular features to show up in the game since its initial release. Today Dungeon Link has been updated and one of the more requested features has finally arrived this morning, which is the additional of a fully functioning Guild system.
One game that a lot of current and future Shield Android TV owners are looking forward to happens to be the upcoming Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel game. This particular installment into the franchise will be taking place on Pandora’s Moon with four new classes to learn and play as while looking for all the loot you can carry.
Albion Online is a MMORPG a lot of people are looking forward to play. It was originally announced that the PC MMORPG would be coming to multiple platforms including Android and iOS last year and since then the game developers have been hard at work making sure everything runs smoothly. This game actually had a brief closed alpha testing period a little while ago (earlier this year), making this Summer Alpha the second time the game has opened up to the public.
LEGO has announced today that their upcoming LEGO Minifigures Online game will be featuring full cross-platform support, which includes mobile devices, and will be officially arriving next week. That means players on all platforms (PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android) will be sharing the same persistent online world with people on different platforms at the same time.
The venerable survival genre is nearly as old as gaming itself, dating back at least to Oregon Trail and survival modes in tower defense games. Asobimo Inc. has been responsible for a few rather good MMORPGs for mobile devices including the recently released Izanagi Online which turned out to be pretty good back when we went hands-on with it while in beta form. Since then it has grown nicely. The company also has a few MMORPGs currently in beta testing as well, some of which have been in beta testing for awhile. One of those is Toram Online, which is currently available for beta testing in certain locations (mainly Asia), and today it has been updated with some new content to check out.
Today there are a couple of solid granted that are on sale. Baldur’s Gate (enhanced edition) is the classic PC RPG that was ported over to Android. Baldur’s Gate features a fantasy setting, based on the Frogotten Realms campaign of D&D. Sentinel is a tower defense franchise, where humans take on aliens, in interstellar combat.
DotEmu had two big announcements to share at E3 2015, the first being Titan Quest, and the second being the company expanding the Ys Chronicles series on Android with Ys Chronicles II. The first installment into the series arrived onto Android back in April of this year, which means if all goes well, we will have two Ys Chronicles games to play through in one year.
