FCC E-filing yielded up some new information and photos on what appears to be a new Shield handheld. In the letter to the FCC from NVIDIA they designate it a Portable Gaming Device, with the type designation P2523. It will feature micro SD card expansion, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and charge via mini-USB.

Usually Nvidia takes CES each year to announce their next products in the mobile gaming space, whether that be a new iteration of a current product, or a whole new device. Right now Nvidia is in the perfect spot in their Shield product timeline to be introducing something new at CES 2017. According to an anonymous source, this is exactly what will be happening regarding the Nvidia Shield Android TV.
In a double-header of Pokemon GO news, it appears that Niantic Labs has teamed up with Sprint for… something. What this may actually end up being remains to be seen, but we won’t have to wait long to find out what’s going on with the two companies, as they are planning to hold a join press conference tomorrow.
Nintendo held another general meeting with their shareholders and while everything at this meeting was pretty standard, there was one item that wasn’t. During the meeting, the company hinted that they were making a mobile game controller. Of course hinting at something doesn’t necessarily mean that it will happen, so take the following details with a grain of salt.
Samsung revealed no too long ago that they were developing a controller specifically for their Gear VR headset. While details about said controller haven’t been plentiful, today there seems to be a few images that are apparently of the controller the company is designing for the Virtual Reality headset.
So far in the two years that Nvidia has launched the Nvidia Shield tablet we have had two iterations, the original and then the recently released Tegra K1 version. It seems a new version is passing through the FCC right now and this time it looks like it’ll be sporting the Tegra X1 chipset. This would obviously be a big improvement if this ends up being true.
Nintendo this year is planning to finally start revealing details about their next system called the NX. Recently this system was in the news the other day because of the apparent rumor that it will come with the ability to work with mobile devices, PCs, and possibly other consoles. Today news is coming out that takes things a step further, making it all the more interesting, with the fact that the NX may actually be two devices.
Interesting news coming out today about Nintendo’s upcoming console, and that is the rumor that the Nintendo NX will have support, or work with, smartphone, PC, and even other consoles such as the Playstation 4. Some of this information isn’t actually surprising if you’ve been following the news about the Nintendo NX and the company’s plans for mobile gaming as well.
Hearthpwn does a lot of things to get the skinny on upcoming features and other goodies that are supposed to be arriving in Hearthstone. The latest is very interesting indeed as it appears that a co-op Tavern Brawl mode is making its way to Hearthstone in the near future. The mechanics and strategies may be totally different when talking about co-op Hearthstone gameplay.

So far we haven’t had much in the way of details regarding the release date for Gameloft’s upcoming sequel to their popular MMORPG Order & Chaos. In case you haven’t been following the development of this sequel, this new MMORPG is called Order & Chaos 2: Redemption and will feature a lot of new goodies for players to enjoy.
