Gamevil has dropped a couple of big games onto the Google Play store over the past couple of days. Today’s release is the latest addition to their Soccer Superstars franchise appropriately named Soccer Superstars 2012. Ready to get some more soccer action going?
It is time for another semi-holiday this weekend and with that you can expect some sales on games over on the Google Play store. EA is the first to announce their Father’s Day sale with a promotion called Games for Guys which will have select titles up to 40% off during the sale.
Dipping way way back into the past you might remember us talking about Vivid Games and their upcoming Speedball 2: Evolution title from back in October 2010. Well after almost a year and a half of waiting for the damn game to arrive, it has finally launched onto the Google Play store.
EA had a lot to talk about during their press event the other day, a lot of which had to do with bringing social aspect to more of their games. Following up on that though are confirmation for two games slated for release on Android and iOS. Fans of golf games, specifically of the PGA Tour variety for EA, now have the newest addition to the series to finally play. EA has release Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2012 onto the Google Play store as of last night. In this game you’ll be playing against the best of the PGA tour.
Hot on the heels of their release of Big Win Hockey, Hothead Games has released a second sports theme TCG called Big Win Soccer. Just like its hockey brethren, this is just like the Big Win Hockey games but themed around Soccer instead.
Fans of TCGs (Trading Card Games) has a new title to dig their teeth into. For those of you not familiar with what TCGs are, if you have ever heard of games like Magic the Gathering or some Android games like Rage of Bahamut, then you will already have an idea as to what Hothead Games’ newest release called Big Win Hockey is all about.
EA has come out to confirm that FIFA 13 will be heading to iOS and ‘other mobile platforms’ later this year. Why some of these major game development companies have such an aversion to mentioning Android in their announcements is beyond us but we can expect to see this game released onto Android as well.
Like a middle child, mobile games are constantly vying for our attention. Every week there is a new shipment of mobile games propping themselves on our desks and demands to be played. While we do have dedicated reviewers, sometimes the games can be just as engaging as reviewing your W-2 forms. With the tsunami of new games every week we find our selves repeatedly drowning at the staggering amount of games.
