Konami has been testing the waters of the Android Market recently with the release of Frogger and Contra 4: Redux. It seems that Konami is ready to take a real jump into those waters though as they released one of their major sports titles, PES 2011. Well it seems Gameloft have been pretty busy lately as yet another title has shown up on their storefront for some users. The purchase page for Real Golf 2011 for Android has appeared on the site but as always, it shows up a couple of days before it is actually available so you can’t buy it just yet, give it till Friday.
Gameloft is officially releasing two new games today but we already knew they were coming thanks to some previous leaks on the Gameloft site as well as a tip for our resident Gameloft tipster Dave Loft. GT Racing Motor Academy HD and Real Soccer 2011 HD are now both ‘officially’ available for select Android devices.
Big name veteran game developer Konami announced today that they have 2 games ready for the glasses-free Sharp Galapagos phones that recently landed in Japan and soon the US as well. “Mobile Pawafuru Proyaku 3D” and “Golfriends!” are the names of the two games for these pretty cool Android devices.
It is going to be a great Christmas for Android gamers at this rate. Dungeon Defenders” First Wave landing Dec.23rd and now Gamevil has also announced that Zenonia 2 and Baseball Superstars 2011 while be released onto Android Dec. 24th! Fans of Baseball Superstars and Zenonia are going to be very happy.
In our last post regarding the Madden 2011 game by EA Mobile, we mentioned it was coming in an update to the Droid X. The version within the update is, indeed, a demo version which we figured it would be. Upgrading to the full version will set you back $9.99 which really isn’t bad considering the quality of the game.
Verizon will be pushing out a new update to Droid X owners in the very near future, version 2.3.340. Included in this update, according to the documents, is EA Mobile’s Madden 2011 game which was supposed to be available by now to Android gamers. Considering this, it looks like the reason it hasn’t bee released is due to Verizon nabbing an exclusive on it.
