[UPDATE: Game Released] EA announces Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, coming to mobile devices later this year
EA Mobile today has announced a new Star War game that will be heading to mobile devices later this year called Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. This particular game is a turn-based RPG-style title where players will be able to collect some of their favorite characters from the Star Wars franchise and use them to take out their enemies.
In other EA and Star Wars news, EA has decided to release a new Star Wars Battlefront companion app which has plenty of features that one would expect from an app of this nature, as well as a new mini-game you game play called Base Command. Users will be able to earn in-game credits that can be used to unlock Star Cards, blasters, and more in the actual Star Wars Battlefront game.
It’s been a few weeks since we did our last in-game item style of giveaway, and so it is time for another one. This time Konami has given us 10 rare cards from their Star Wars: Force Collection game to giveaway. The 10 cards are actually divided into two cards available. In other words, if you are one of the winners, you’ll be able to pick which one of the two cards to get as your prize.
At the beginning of September the Sphero BB-8 Star Wars themed app-enabled robot became available and pretty much everyone wanted one, even just to play with it for a minute. Well 3Doodler has now made the Sphero BB-8 Star Wars robot a series instead, with the BB-Luke, BB-Darth, BB-3PO and BB-Leia.
[UPDATE: Game Released] Kabam releases a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming Star Wars Uprising game
During E3 2015 last month Kabam announced a new Star Wars game they would be publishing for mobile devices called Star Wars Uprising. In case you missed that announcement, this game takes place between the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, bridging the gap between the two time frames and filling in the story between the two.
Star Wars fans have a new toy they may want to get their hands on called the Sphero BB-8. This little rolling robot can be controlled by your smartphone and is based off of the BB-8 character (complete with authentic look and personality) in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie which will be hitting theaters in December.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was released onto mobile not too long ago and the developers behind bringing that game to mobile are considering bringing the sequel over as well. Right now though nothing has really been worked on regarding bringing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords to mobile, mainly because Aspyr is trying to see if there is enough interest for this game on mobile to begin with.

Well Disney has released a companion app for the entire franchise in order to make it easier to follow everything relating to Star Wars as well as some other interesting features like a full sound board to play with.
