I have always been fascinated by ants. They are quite remarkable creatures. When I saw this game, and that it involved ants and strategy, I decided to give it a try. Overall it is a fun game. The goal of BugKing is to dominate your fellow bugs in the field. You start off in a small hut, as do your opponents.
Rubicon Development is known for their hit turn-based strategy game called Great Little War Game. After having an expansion release with additional maps, Rubicon has determined that it is time for a sequel and would like to introduce you to Great Big War Game, coming July 18th to Android.
When people start speaking about monster waves, and stopping them from getting to your house, room, etc, games like Plants vs. Zombies or Slimes vs. Mushrooms come to mind instantly, giving us a direct flashback to our best times feeding our troops with sunlight and what not. Well, Gamevil is giving us their version of this genre with their new game Chicken Revolution.
For all of you fans of classic board games, especially Battleship, here is a really good rendition of it revamped with 3D visuals. This is all thanks to Skahal Studios who have released their first games onto Google Play. Ships N’ Battles brings the classic game of Battleship giving it a top-edge coating with great graphics, likeable sound effects and some new features to refresh the classic Battleship game.
Topping off yesterday’s news that Chillingo has just released three pretty solid games onto Google Play called Feed Me Oil, Draw Race 2 and Harry the Fairy comes word that Chillingo is also gearing up to release Critter Escape! onto Android soon as well. Feel like playing as a mud mutant?
For those of you who enjoy crawling dungeons for loot and monster killing enjoyment, there is a new game on Google Play called Blind Man’s Dungeon. Developed by URARA WORKS and Skipmore, this neat little retro style dungeon crawler definitely isn’t your typical game from this genre.
A rather popular turn-based strategy game on iOS by Robot Entertainment called Hero Academy just had an announcement that it was going to be arriving on Steam. With it’s arrival on Steam, cross-platform gameplay will be arriving to both iOS and Steam. Seeing this update, we did some digging around to find out if Hero Academy would be coming to Android.
It seems as though, as of late, that Kairosoft had been forming a habit of giving everyone a few days warning before a new game is released. Apparently they felt like breaking this habit as they just released a new game onto Android called The Sushi Spinnery.
Developers going by the name of Nival have a fair amount of titles planned for Android and one of those titles, called Prime World: Defenders, looks to breath some much needed life into the Defense gaming genre that has slowly grown a little stale over the last little while. That isn’t to say there isn’t good defense games available.
