DotEmu has decided to host their own game sale called the Retro Summer Sale. In this sale there are five games that have been discounted by at least 50% off of their regular prices. This is a limited time sale, so you only have about a week to decide which game(s) you want and to pick them up.
It’s Friday which means it is time for another round-up of Android games that are currently on sale for this weekend. While half the list may be repeats from last week, the first half happens to be full of some really good games that are discounted for the immediate future.
It isn’t always serious with the big development companies when it comes to work. Square Enix Montreal, the team behind Lara Croft Go, Hitman GO, and the upcoming Deus Ex GO, just released a parody video clip of their idea of Pokemon GO. The gaming aspect of this is influenced by strategy games such as Risk or Settlers of Catan, even down to using a board comprised of hex tiles resembling the latter.
Bohemia has released a new game within the Arma franchise and it actually happens to be a mobile game called Arma Mobile Ops. Before you get all excited into thinking that this is an FPS game like the PC titles in the franchise, it isn’t. Instead it is an RTS style of game where you’ll be building up your own base and army.
Set in deep space, Quaser is a new adventure game for the Android platform. In Quaser, players will tasked with the management of the eponymous ship, set out to rescue another starship and its crew, known as the Demeter. The Demeter set out almost a decade back, in search of a distant planet dubbed 228 Hydra.
Last week we reported on the soft launch for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius which is currently only available in a couple of selection regions, mainly Japan. However Square Enix and gumi inc have announced that the global launch for this game will be happening this year and actually in the pretty near future.
