For those of you who enjoy warfare on the high seas there is a new game heading our way called Leviathan: Warships. A joint project between Paradox Interactive and Pieces Interactive, Leviathan: Warships will give you all the aquatic warfare you can handle with all the weapons you could want including fun things like lasers.
Shadowrun Returns was originally scheduled for a January 2013 release, but has been pushed back to May/June 2013 in order to add new features. While this is a bit disappointing to hear, especially for those who have been anticipating this release (the Kickstarter project that spurred this game’s launch met its’ $400,000 goal within 28 hours, to give you an idea of how much people wanted this game.
It’s hard to describe exactly what Elder Sign: Omens is about. It’s basically a board game in which you and a group of adventurers — either NPC or ones controlled by friends — attempt to solve mysteries before you go mad. Really, if you are familiar with Lovecraft and all of that mumbo jumbo about crazy gods and the end of the world (which I am not) then you will know what I’m talking about.
There are plenty of us out there who are fans of the games Kairosoft puts out onto Google Play, having sunk many hours into creating the best game development studio or trying to make our village the home of many adventurers. With that said, here are some of the games we hope to see arrive in English in the near future.
During CES 2013 nVidia’s revealed their Project Shield handheld gaming console that is running Android. Also during CES 2013 nVidia’s next chipset called Tegra 4 was also announced along with a quick glimpse at a selection of games that would be arriving for Tegra 4 devices. One such title in that list was Bohemia Interactive’s Arma Tactics game.

Ultimately, with this, smaller developers get vital exposure for their games and you get to have more games to play on your plate. Almost two weeks ago we mentioned that two Kairosoft games had appeared on Google Play for residents of Japan and users who use Market Enabler. Kairosoft is usually pretty quick now with translating their Japanese released games over to English and so two weeks after posting about those games, Kairosoft has released one of them called Dream House Days onto Google Play.
Bulkypix is gearing up to release a new game called Goblin Rush on January 29th, 2013. This game is a horizontal defense game where players take on the role of the guardian of the Manacristals who is basically a wizard-ish type of character. There is a legion of goblins intent on invading your lands so you have to do your duty and stop them.
Unigine Corp got in contact with us this morning to share with us a rather nice hands-on video of their upcoming Oil Rush strategy game that we reported on yesterday which is heading our way next month, at least temporarily for Android devices with Snapdragons S4 chipsets inside them at first. We also now have a full list of features that will be coming with this game as well.
Today, Ndemic has released some new details about the new upcoming update for Plague Inc. The update will add a new virus to the game called the Necroa Virus and it will open an branch of mutation that will enable it to reanimate the humans that it’s killed, thus turning them into zombies. How bad ass is that?
