The free version of Ubisoft’s rather popular defense game called Babel Rising 3D, which was developed in partnership with AMA and Mando Productions, has received an update that brings with it new human units to smite and new obstacles to overcome. Something that shouldn’t be too hard to handle since you are a god after all.
In the true spirit of Pokemon style games, Gamevil has released their own rendition of the monster collecting and battling game called Monster Warlord. You will be playing as Mika who is traveling around the world seeking out monsters to capture, collect and train. Like any good game of this nature, you have your common monsters to your ultra rare powerful ones.
Gamevil has released a new game this morning, breaking away from their usual releases of retro style games mostly in the RPG category, and have released a game called Galaxy Empire. This definitely looks like a title that is being published by Gamevil but was developed by a different company due to how radically different the visuals are. No surprise though since Gamevil is really pushing their partner program for indie developers, having recently added another $10 million in funding to the pool.
In a move to directly compete with GREE who happens to be currently dominating the TCG / Card Battle gaming genre on Android here in the west and in Europe, Zynga has decided to import two of their card battling games over to the rest of the world from their Japan division. Yes, that means two more TCG titles to play and attempt to keep track of while playing the other 50 installed on your device.
A new turn-based strategy game has arrived on Android called Slay. Developed by Sean O’Connor, this new strategy game is set in the medieval period where you will be controlling your forces, starting off with peasants, and attacking your enemy’s territories in the hopes of conquering them and add them to yours territories.
Kairosoft, like the stealthy ninjas they have gone back to being, have quietly released another game onto Google Play ensuring that your free time is minimal this weekend. Their new game is called Venture Towns and is a rather large sim city building game which is a slight deviation from their usual, more specifically themed, games that they release.
For those of you who don’t have enough TCG titles to play on your Android device, you’ll be happy to know that there is yet another brand new one available on the Google Play store called Demon Busters. Developed by Nubee, Demon Busters is a social RPG card game where you will be saving the world from demons and monsters.
Tired of Ubisoft news today? No? Good because here is some more. Back in June, 2012 we talked about GREE who were teaming up with Ubisoft to bring a city building game to mobile based off of the Assassin’s Creed universe called Assassin’s Creed: Utopia. Well we know have a few more details, a release time frame and screenshots to take a look at.
We were tipped off about a recently released turn-based strategy game called Battles and Castles which is a fully 3D rendered title that has a lot of potential to be a big hit, at least with fans of strategy games. Developed by Evil Indie Games, this new game is loosely based off of Heroes Of Might and Magic or Civilization, at least according to the developers.
So by now most people are familiar with the fact that Shadowrun Returns, one of two Shadowrun games that had successful Kickstarter campaigns recently, will be coming to Android tablets when it is released.
