Back in July of this year we talked about a Kairosoft game themed around farming that had made an appearance on the Japanese Google Play store. Usually Kairosoft takes about a month or so to get the game out internationally after it appears on the Japanese Google Play store. For whatever reason this one took a bit longer but Pocket Harvest is now available for everyone to sink their time into.

Halloween Android Game Sale Round-Up: Sine Mora, Kingdom Rush Frontiers, Rayman Jungle Run and more
Today is Halloween and like every time this year we see an onslaught of games get updated with Halloween themed content as well as going on sale. This is a great time for Android gamers to snag a few deals and this year is no exception to that rule as there happens to be plenty of good games on sale today.
Google’s in-house studio NianticLabs has finally taken the jump, changing their location-based MMO Ingress from closed beta status to an open beta one. So what exactly does this mean? It means you don’t have to wait for an invitation in order to grab this rather in-depth game. Instead you can head over to Google Play and snag yourself a copy of Ingress right now for free without the need for an invite from a friend.
A new action strategy game will be heading to Android this Thursday called Mech Conquest. Currently this game is already available to play over on Facebook but the company behind the game has been working to port Mech Conquest over to Android and will finally release the mobile version of the game tomorrow.

Activision has decided to come out of left field and release a Call of Duty game onto Android called Call of Duty: Strike Team. This particular game is a blend of first-person and third-person squad-based tactical gameplay where you’ll be controlling your squad of soldiers, positioning them in strategic places before switching to a first-person perspective and laying out a few clips of ammo onto your enemies.
Sad Blizzard’s Hearthstone was announced for just iOS? Don’t be, there’s hope for Android devices.
When Blizzard announced their new game, which ended up being a TCG called Hearthstone, it was also announced for iOS gamers to play on the iPad. However other mobile platforms were left behind like our beloved Android platform. New evidence is pointing towards the possibility that an Android and Windows Phone version of Hearthstone could be arriving soon.
[Updated] Aerena – Clash of Champions goes live with Alpha access available through Google Play
Last week we talked about a rather cool looking turn-based combat game called Aerena – Clash of Champions by Cliffhanger Productions. This is one of those games we’ve been talking about lately that will be arriving with cross-platform support between mobile and PC gamers, being available through Steam for PC, Mac and Linux users while also being launched on iOS and Android for the mobile gamer to enjoy.
PopCap released Plants vs Zombies 2 onto iOS awhile ago and since then we Android gamers have been waiting patiently for the game to actually arrive onto Google Play as well. In that period of time there was even rumors regarding the fact that Apple paid EA/PopCap to keep Plants vs Zombies 2 an iOS exclusive for a long period of time such as six months. This started because of a leaked statement during a meeting with PopCap where something was taken out of context (according to PopCap) which lead to people believing this happened. Whether that is true or not remains a mystery but it doesn’t matter now though since the game is now available on Google Play.
Rubicon Developments, the creators of the Great Big War Game and other popular turn-based strategy combat games, are back with what appears to be their biggest title yet called Combat Monsters. Now available on Google Play, this game blends collecting cards and the company’s expertise in turn-based combat games to form a pretty impressive title.
