Welcome to another end-of-the-week round-up of Android games that are on sale right now. This week’s list is actually decent in size and pretty much every game is a good game to possibly spend a dollar or two on grabbing. It is also spread out across a lot of the genres in gaming so there should be something for everyone this week on sale.
Tactical turn-based combat game on Steam called Aerena – Clash of Champions coming to Android in the future
Another game on Steam has announced some additional platforms that it will be available on in the future after its release on Steam. Developed by Cliffhanger Productions, Aerena – Clash of Champions and is a tactical turn-based combat strategy game which will feature cross-platform multiplayer. This is the second game this week that we have reported on that will feature this kind of cross-platform support.
Altered Beast and Golden Axe will be making a special appearance in Kingdom Conquest II next month
Sege has just announced that two classic games will be making a special appearance in their Kingdom Conquest II game in order to celebrate the upcoming 25th anniversary for the 1988 debut of the Mega Drive console. Players will have a chance to snag booster packs themed around Altered Beast and Golden Axe next month.
Spacetime Games, formerly known as Spacetime Studios, have announced their next game which is called Battle Command. This will be an MMO strategy warfare game where players will be given a small group of soldiers which you will use to build the best possible military force.
Quark Games has pushed out a new update for their cross-platform multiplayer PvP game Champs: Battlegrounds. This update brings some pretty big changes to the game itself as it includes a new relic system, leveling and an entire tournament points system to keep track of the points you earn when entering tournaments.
Lords of Discord – Herocraft’s upcoming cross-platform tactics style strategy game coming in 2014
Herocraft has made a lot of games for mobile as well as publishing games by other developers as well. However the company is looking to expand their reach and in doing so they are breaking into an area where a lot of games don’t reach into. This area is the cross-platform gaming experience and while there’s a lot of games that are cross-platform between iOS and Android, there isn’t a whole lot that move past that into the realm of PC/Mac/Linux gaming.
Three games currently in soft launches you should check out if you can, global releases coming soon
Over the past few days there have been a few games that have been released as a soft launch specific to certain countries in like Canada, Australia and a few others, order to test to make sure they are all running good. Two of these games we’ve talk about in the past already, covering their inevitable release onto Android, and both are being published by EA. These games are Dungeon Keeper and Heroes of Dragon Age. The third game is actually from LucasArts called Tiny Death Star.

A new Humble Bundle has launched and it looks like Android users get to enjoy a bit of a double dose of gaming goodness from the company. The Humble Bundle 7 features a selection of games that you can grab for your Android device, PC, Mac and Linux for whatever you want to pay.
In more Clash of Clans developer Supercell news, the company has announced today that it has sold 51% of the company to SoftBank and GungHo Entertainment for the ridiculous amount of $1.5 billion making this one of the biggest mobile game studio purchases to date. It isn’t like either company didn’t have the money to spare, especially after GungHo Entertainment’s release of Puzzle and Dragons which makes them a staggering amount of money by itself.
