Welcome to another end-of-the-week round-up of Android games that are on sale right now. Usually we talked about how either the list is small but full of quality games or that the list of games on sale is big with some good titles thrown in there. This week however is a little different because the list is pretty good in size and just about every game on sale in this list is a good one.

Back in June of this year we mentioned that a rather good looking tactical MOBA game called Arena of Heroes would be making its way to a variety of platforms including Android and Ouya. We the Ouya version of the game is now live and available for download for anyone who owns one of the Android-powered game consoles. To celebrate the launch of the game on Ouya, the developers are also giving away an Ouya as well as a bunch of secondary prizes as well.
Fishlabs’s Galaxy On Fire – Alliances delayed till 2014, closed beta tester positions available now
Fishlabs has been working on the next installment into their Galaxy on Fire franchise officially called Galaxy On Fire – Alliances. While the game was originally slated for release this year, Fishlabs has announced that the game’s release has been delayed until sometime in 2014. The game is, however, currently running in a closed beta testing phase and an open beta phase is slated to start in November.
One of the finest strategy games you can come across on Android is Anomaly: Warzone Earth, and its follow-up Anomaly Korea. For the uninitiated, both these games put a twist to the age-old tower defense formula, where instead of you being on the side of the towers, you are now in control of a convoy making its way through a maze of alien machines.
Keith Burgun may not be a name you are instantly familiar with the moment you hear it but our friend has actually designed some pretty well known games. In fact Keith was the game designer behind 100 Rogues which recently made its way to Ouya. Well he’s been keeping us up to date regarding his newest title called Empire which is now available on Google Play.

As many of you know DeNA has their TCG style Transformer themed game called Transformers: Legends which has grown to be quite popular. You may also remember that over the course of the last month the developers have been releasing weekly additions to the game, otherwise known as episodes, which introduced new scenarios to play through and even the game’s first PvP events.
One game a lot of people have been waiting for since it was announced is the official mobile version of Transport Tycoon. Having been in a bit of a beta stage of testing for the last little while, this game is now available on Google Play since a few days ago for select Android devices. In other words, from what we can tell, that means tablets only as far as we can tell.
A couple of weeks ago we talked about the fact that Supercell had changed their stance on bringing Clash of Clans to Android after long stating that they wouldn’t be doing that. Since then the game has been in a limited beta for a short period of time and now the game is officially on Google Play for select Android devices and by select Android devices we means tablets mostly.
One game we’ve talked about heading our way in the near future is Nimblebit’s next release called Pocket Trains. Slated for release yesterday it did in fact arrive right on time so now you can dive into the pixel filled world of trains, pixel people and managing all of it.
Supercell, the developers of the extremely popular strategy game called Clash of Clans, has decided to rethink their position on bringing the game to Android. Back in November of last year Supercell made headlines through the Android gaming community when they announced that there would not be an Android port of Clash of Clans. This was basically because the costs outweighed the possible profit that the company would make, at least at that time.
