iOS gamers have a rather epic RPG to enjoy tomorrow which happens to be a sequel to Crescent Moon Games’ Ravensword title. Officially called Ravensword: Shadowlands, this is a huge open world 3D RPG title which means not only will there be plenty of areas to explore in the game but also a ton of monsters that you’ll have to kill.

Fans of Anomaly: Warzone Earth have some good news today as 11 Bit Studios has confirmed the sequel to their tower offense game will be arriving on Android some time between now and Christmas. That means Anomaly Korea will land on Google Play at some point over the next 11 days. We’ve had the privilege of having been playing an early preview build of Anolomay Korea over the past couple of weeks and we can say you won’t be disappointed.
Last week Zeptolab, the developers of Cut The Rope, let the cat out of the bag about their next title which will also be a puzzle game called Pudding Monsters. When the announcement was made, we had a little teaser trailer which didn’t show us any of the gameplay that would come with the game. Now we get to see a little bit of it.
Way back in May of this year we talked about a development studio going by the name of Dark Tonic who had put up a Kickstarter campaign to get funding for their Occupy Wall Street inspired game called Wall Street Titan. Well it looks as though development has come along quite nicely and the first full Android version test has been successful.
One game we are following closely is the sequel to the classic Elite game called Elite: Dangerous which is on Kickstarter right now looking for funding so Frontier Developments can finish the game. If it does make its goal, the developers will be considering the possibility of bringing the game to other platforms including mobile phones and tablets.
Gameloft has announced a new free-to-play game heading our way very soon called Playmobil Pirates. Having teamed up with the toy company called Playmobil out of Germany, this game is basically a casual sim game where players will be able to create their own pirate camps and do a lot of social type activities with friends.
Noodlecake Games have been porting and bringing popular iOS games to Android since just before this past Summer and all of those games have been pretty good. Well one title that Noodlecake has been brought on to bring to Android is the great indie game from RocketCat and Madgarden called Punch Quest.
Square Enix has gone ahead and given everyone a heads up about when the next Final Fantasy installment would be landing on Android and iOS, most likely in order for everyone to start saving up their pennies so they can afford it. Final Fantasy IV will be arriving on iOS this month while all of us Android gamers will be seeing this next Final Fantasy title arriving on Google Play in early Spring of 2013.
Back in November we reported on an official Ong Bak game that was being developed by Studios HIVE in conjunction with the new Ong Bak movie that is coming up as well. Formally called Ong Bak Tri, this game will be based off of the upcoming movie and is a 2.5D side-scrolling action game that is slated for release on PC, consoles and mobile devices.
As we draw closer to the end of 2012, a lot of games are already getting announced for 2013 which you may have noticed lately. Yet another games that will be landing on mobile devices soon comes from Beeline, the fine folks that brought us games like Smurfs’ Village and Monster Pet Shop, but this time it will be based off of the Ghostbusters franchise and yes, it will have nothing to do with augmented reality like the current Ghostbusters game is.
