During GDC 2015 we got a chance to sit down with inkle and go hands-on with their next installment into their Sorcery! series of games called Sorcery! 3. We it appears that this game is getting closer to release as the company has begun releasing new screenshots regarding Sorcery! 3 for everyone to check out.

[Update: Beta Started] Nexon Korea announces the worldwide release is coming soon for Mabinogi Duel on mobile, closed beta sign-ups are live
Nexon has a few games available on Android already but now their Korean office, which is in charge of their PC titles such as Mabinogi, Combat Arms, and Vindictus, has announced that they will be going globally for the first time with a new game called Mabinogi Duel which is obviously based off of their Mabinogi franchise. Along with this announcement also comes beta sign-ups going live.
If news of Final Fantasy XI coming to Android isn’t enough to satisfy that Final Fantasy itch you may be having, there is some additional news that might help with that little problem. During the press event today where Square Enix announced the partnership with Nexon in regards to bringing Final Fantasy XI Online to mobile, the company also announced another game called Final Fantasy Grandmasters.
If Nintendo teaming up with DeNA to bring their IPs to mobile deices wasn’t hell freezing over then perhaps today’s news about Square Enix and Nexon will manage to pull that off. After Square Enix announced that no more major Final Fantasy games would be coming to mobile after Final Fantasy VI, due to a lot of reasons, today Nexon and Square Enix have announced that they are teaming up to bring Final Fantasy XI to mobile devices. What is even crazier is that we already have confirmation of a Western release, so it won’t be Japan only.
We haven’t posted about a game from Herocraft in some time but today changes that with the announcement of World of Dungeons, a new game Herocraft is currently developing. This game is a little different than what you might expect from Herocraft who has made such games as the Majesty and Farm Frenzy franchises.
[GDC 2015] Interview with Niantic Labs about their upcoming alternate reality title Endgame: Proving Ground
One of the stories from GDC 2015 we had to sit on was our interview with Niantic Labs about their upcoming title called Endgame. Well today we can finally talk about everything including a bit of the gameplay we saw for Endgame: Proving Grounds. For those of you not familiar with these developers, Niantic Labs are the folks behind the rather unique location-based game Ingress. So what is Endgame: Proving Grounds about? We sat down with Niantic Labs during GDC 2015 to find out all about it.
Later this month, TRAVIAN GAMES is set to release Cheats4Hire. In this game, players attempt to guide a group of students through a school year, so that all of them pass, only they are using every cheat and trick in the book. The graphics for this game were designed by Sean Galloway, of renown in the world of comics (think Spectacular Spider-Man TV series, among other things). The press release mentioned specifically that the game will be for tablets.
Madfinger Games announced their next title just before GDC 2015 started and it was another zombie shooter called Unkilled. The company was on hand at the Unity booth at GDC 2015 showing off a technical demo of Unkilled which we decided to swing by in order to get a little hands-on time with the early build of Unkilled that they had on display.
While one of the stories we had to wait with talking about till today was Mortal Kombat X, the other title we had to sit on until now was our hands-on time with Spacetime Studios upcoming MOBA Call of Champions. We have already gone into great detail about this game when we had our pre-GDC 2015 interview with Spacetime Studios but we didn’t get to do any sort of hands-on with the game itself until GDC 2015 actually started.
One of the games we were very eager to try out during GDC 2015 was NetherRealms’ Mortal Kombat X for Android devices. When we got to where the game was being shown, it was in a nice dark conference room behind closed doors with both the console version as well as the mobile version being available to play. Without wasting any time we went over to the table where all the tablets were, sat down, and began playing Mortal Kombat X while talking to one of the developers working on the project.
