Ever since the first day, the pause menu in Angry Birds: Star Wars HD contained a couple of ads for Rovio’s other games. Considering this was a paid game costing $2.99, the presence of the ads was baffling, irrespective of whether the ads were only for Rovio’s other titles. However, users could turn off the ads by tapping a button in the in-game menu, so a large-scale protest never materialized.

Well ‘soon’ came rather quickly as this new update is now live on Google Play and available for download. Interestingly enough we didn’t think it would be named Escape from Hoth but it ended up being the official name for this update.

The second piece of Minecraft: Pocket Edition news isn’t as detailed as this morning’s earlier article but it is almost as excited for fans of the game. For those of you patiently waiting for the 0.6.0 update to arrive, you will only have to wait a couple more days before you will be able to download the update, craft some armor and put up signs all over the place.
We have a double shot of Minecraft: Pocket Edition news to go over this morning and the first chunk of news comes from one of the main developers working on Minecraft: Pocket Edition who goes by the name Johan Bernhardsson who just did a quick livestream on TwitchTV with Daniel Kaplan with both of them showing off some of the new features coming in the 0.6.0 update.
It looks like OUYA really likes to listen to feedback from everyone regarding their upcoming Android-based console.
