The Unity Engine is everywhere! TwitchTV recently pushed out an update for their Android application which brings with it a completed new design for the app’s user interface. This marks the first major overhaul since the release of the app. This new user interface is much more easier to navigate but aside from that it is also a hell of a lot more improved visually.

Bungie’s latest project Destiny will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game will be grand in scale to say the least. You are in luck because the companion app is available now in the Play Store, which coincides with the launch of the Beta that has just begun.
Google Play Games, is the direct-from-Google app that manages the games that a given player is currently enjoying, or has in the past. It’s a place where players can see where they rank on Leader Boards, see what their friends (on Google+) are playing, and cloud save their in-game progress, among other useful features for players and developers alike. As promised during Google I/O, it’s received a bit of an overhaul.
Ubisoft announced Just Dance Now, an app that will work in tandem with the upcoming game Just Dance 2015, the newest entry in the popular dance game series. The app lets players join in the game by using their phone as a controller. It only works for select songs though. Built in accelerometers in most devices allow this to be possible. There is no set limit to how many dancers can join in when using the app, as shown in the trailer for the game.
Developers going by the name of Eltechs who have released a port of DOOM and Heretic onto Android along with the PC game emulator called ExaGear Strategies have updated their emulator to include support for three additional games today. If you’re a fan of playing retro PC games on your Android device, then this is some good news for you.
About a week ago we reported on a sort of demo game from Epic which was released onto Google Play to show the flexibility of their Unreal Engine 4 in regards to mobile game development. Tappy Bird was the full demonstration game that they released and while it may not have been a massive buffet of visual eye candy, it did do the trick in some ways to show that you don’t need to be a massively experienced programmer to use Unreal Engine 4.
Today, EA Mobile has released a mobile companion app for Respawn Entertainment’s wildly successful freshman release, Titanfall. The simply named app, “Titanfall Companion App”, is robust both in size (612MB) and features, promising to enhance the player experience with a bevy of tools.
Nintendo will be bringing a 3DS tethering app to Google Play but only in Japan. Coming on the heels of the upcoming Mario Kart app, titled Mario Kart TV , this app will allow users to connect their 3DS to their phone for internet use.
