Humble Bundle’s new app is now live in Google Play

For those that aren’t familiar with them, Humble Bundle provides games, books, and other digital offerings to customers. What makes them different is two fold. First, they allow customers to pay whatever amount seen fit for a bundle of games (or books, or comics, or music, or whatever), without any DRM attached. Seriously. Second, the money is divided between Humble Bundle, the developers, and charity, again with the specific amounts being divided up by the customer at the time of purchase.

Available Now in the Play Store: Destiny: A Companion App for the Console Game by Bungie, Inc.

Colossal is one of many words that can be used to describe the game that will be released 09.09.2014. Bungie’s latest project Destiny will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.  The game will be grand in scale to say the least. If there ever were a need for a companion app for a game, this would be the game. You are in luck because the companion app is available now in the Play Store, which coincides with the launch of the Beta that has just begun.

Google Play Games version 2.0 arrives with new features and UI changes

Google Play Games, is the direct-from-Google app that manages the games that a given player is currently enjoying, or has in the past. It’s a place where players can see where they rank on Leader Boards, see what their friends (on Google+) are playing, and cloud save their in-game progress, among other useful features for players and developers alike. As promised during Google I/O, it’s received a bit of an overhaul.
